Introducing the new Microsoft Edge web browser. It’s time to expect more. More privacy. More control. More productivity. More value. Microsoft Edge brings you performance, security, and privacy, all in one browser. Browse the web anywhere with one seamless experience from your phone to your computer and other signed-in devices. Microsoft Edge gives you the tools to protect your privacy online with features like tracking prevention, AdBlock Plus, and InPrivate browsing. Organize the web in a way that cuts through the clutter, making it easier to find, view, and manage your content on the go. With world class compatibility, performance, and new features, the new Microsoft Edge is the only web browser you’ll ever need. The new Microsoft Edge features: A more personalized and productive browsing experience • Your favorites, passwords, Collections, and other saved data are securely synced across your signed-devices. • Search the web on the go with visual and voice search powered by Microsoft Bing. • Immersive Reader removes clutter (like ads and other distracting content) from articles and blog posts for a more streamlined reading experience. • Redesigned navigation helps you get to your Favorites, Reading list, and more in fewer taps. Take control of your data • New! Tracking prevention blocks trackers from sites you haven’t visited. This is enabled by default, so you don’t have to take any action to start having a more private browsing experience. Collect and organize on the go • Collections makes it easier than ever to collect and organize content you find on the web across your signed-in devices – now available on your mobile device. Browse InPrivate • When you use InPrivate tabs, your browsing data (like cookies, history, autofill information, or temporary files) isn't saved on your device after you close out of an InPrivate tab. Block Ads • AdBlock Plus helps block unwanted ads. • Turn on ad blocking by visiting Settings > Content blockers. Microsoft Rewards • Earn rewards while you search with Bing and find shopping deals online and in nearby stores.* Get the new Microsoft Edge web browser for a fast, private and productive experience while you browse. *This shopping feature is currently only available in the United States.
Browser is hot garbage. Idky it has so many positive reviews. Double click to switch tabs, but sometimes single clicking works? Double click to close? But it’s slow so sometimes you click more. But when one tab closes, the other tab expands and the other tab expands out so you end up accidentally closing that tab too.
Bar keeps disappearing on the bottom on certain pages and can’t go back to last page even when swiping
Love the fact that translate everything from another language
The “Continue on PC” feature just does not work on my iPhone. I just installed Edge on a new Mac, and the feature does not find it or my registered Windows devices. Furthermore, the “Send us Feedback” link displayed when trying to use this feature does not work either. I like the browser but your competitor browsers don’t have this problem.
It’s awesome that I can get some info I need to finish a Project on my IPad from PC sweeeeet oh yes
Over the past year or so Microsoft products (Windows 10, Xbox, etc) have been getting better. One prominent example of this is the new Microsoft edge, it’s actually comparable to chrome thanks to it using chromium now! 10/10 Would recommend!
A feature that’s available on every other browser is the ability to send websites from one device to another. You can ONLY send from mobile to desktop. No other options. Epic failure from people who never really understood mobile anyway. See windows phone for proof.
I’d like to see a option of where my favorite goes when I add a new link or edit the name of it. Also needs more support for things like 1Password it works in some log ins but others the edge browser takes over and tries filling in my info
Microsoft can never be seen as a consumer friendly company but forcing someone to submit there cellphone number and then sending a link to download this app for a simple update of a Windows 10 Laptop is UNCOOL!
Good job Microsoft, keep up the good work
