It will randomly stop recording the conversation as and when it pleases and the team is not going to assist you at all with any issues you can write them 100 emails and there will be no response from them. It’s literally like flushing your money down the drain I paid for the highest subscription they have and it states there prioritised support I don’t know their definition of prioritised support as it’s been months and I haven’t received a response I have tried literally everything. The translation is not even apt.
I have to spend an average of 2 hours correcting a 1 hour transcript. With Otter AI’s huge price bump and feature cuts for most tiers, it’s just not worth it anymore. I’m stuck with them till I finish a project, but after that I will be looking elsewhere. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND CHOOSE A LESS GREEDY COMPANY.

You should never block your users’ access to record (Vice all their data to your platform) when they need to. Blocking them when they need to record is an instant way to loose a user forever
My grandma can’t see the words even with it enlarged to the biggest text, it’s still not big enough and needs to have a bold function.
Used to be cheaper and I’d have 6,000 minutes each month. Now they’ve not only raised the price, but also downgraded the minutes to 1,200 a month. Is this how you permanently kill a business relationship? Yes, yes it is.

The iPhone app will just randomly quit recording for no reason, losing your valuable recordings. I have sent several emails to customer support about this and after SEVERAL WEEKS I have not gotten a response, even though I pay over a hundred dollars a year for their service. Don't bother with this company. It's gone way downhill. The product is suffering and their customer support is pathetic. Once they get your money they treat you like garbage. Edit to add: The developer just responded to my review AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SUPPORT. It's been six weeks, and still nothing. The best part? The developer told me to contact support with my complaint. LOLLLLLLLLLL you fail, Otter.
I used to love otter.ai. But now it’s inaccessible and expensive. Both the free accounts and the PAID ones are extremely limited. You have to upgrade to a business account if you plan on using Otter more than a few times. If you’re a journalist, or any professional who doesn’t make an obscene amount of money, otter is simply too expensive now. I NEVER go out of my way to leave any app or product a bad review, but otter has truly disappointed me. I guess the handsomely-paid executives want more money or perhaps the company is bracing for an economic downturn. Terrible for consumers.
