Used this app for years and one day it stops working.... Every time I open it "applicaiton is not responding" and i have to force quit. Look it up online, I am not the only one with this issue. Best answer I found was... working on it
It works really well for my daily tasks
It would be very useful to be able to set due dates for subtasks. Also I would like to create sections within each list (refer to Todoist and their features).
Desktop app crashes constantly
Used to be good on the Mac but lately it never syncs even though it'll say it's synced. I'll complete tasks on my iPhone and move things around and when I go back to my Mac nothing changes. This is frustrating because I'm afriad if I do anything on the Mac version that's out of sync, it'll mess up my data.
I've been using this app since it was Wunderlist, almost 5 years now. I love everything about it BUT I wish it had a feature where it synced due dates to your outlook calendar, instead of showing it in a separate tasks window. It'd be easier for me to just glance at my calendar and know that I have a task/due date assigned for the week, insteda of hovering over it the day of. It would also sync onto my calendar that I check frequently on my phone, instead of having to open to-do separately.
This app used to be good. Now that Microsoft owns it, it has become very clunky and slow.
It seems to me that most of the Microsoft Utility products work better in the Apple ecosystem than the Apple products in the Microsoft ecosystem. So with that in mind To Do is my goto reminder utility on MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Win 11.
It's OK. Nice and simple, but like most things Microsoft, for some reason, the UI just feels a little clunky and not particularly responsive. It mostly gets the job done, and I like that it's simpler than other tools like Things, but it's not exactly a joy to use.
My grudge with this app is that it is very sloooooow in responding
