The ultimate soccer training experience is finally here! The Soccer App analyzes performance and provides structured guidance in real time to improve your skills quickly. The Soccer app uses your smartphone's camera to compare your moves to our virtual trainer. It crunches thousands of data points in real time to give you performance feedback as you go. When you finish a workout, detailed performance stats show your strengths and weaknesses. It's a whole new training experience we know you'll love. The app features hundreds of hours of workouts with many more coming soon. Each in-app drill is demonstrated by word class soccer trainers. Workouts are automatically customized by players' skill levels and performance. For support or feedback, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
My eight year old finds it challenging but I’m sure with practice and repetition she will be encouraged to keep working and we’ll see the improvement in her footwork.
I found this off a YouTube advertisement. It seemed promising, plus I was really into soccer at the time and felt like I could improve. When we got the ball, it was light, felt deflated, small, just meh. When I started doing the app training, the tracking was pretty good, considering it was running off a phone. Of course, considering this was running off a phone, you could cheese it, and just use your hands to pick up and use the ball. I know that you use your foot and it’s not meant to be used that way, but it was still something I found funny. Then we get to the email spam. I sadly slowed them to email me, which is something YOU SHOULDNT DO. I’ve been getting emails from them for so long, and it’s practically every day. It’s annoying and worst of all, they email you with different accounts! So, if I get tired of them spamming and try to block them, it won’t work, because they have so many other accounts it’s insane. They have a dribble up team account, dribble up last chance account, a dribble up community account, individual coach accounts that don’t seem to be actual people, and a dribble up bogo sale account. And that’s the only ones that are recent, there are probably more. TL:DR, ball was deflated and small, the tracking was good for a phone but could be easily bypassed by using your hands, and you have different email accounts spamming you every single day.
No matter how Dribble-Up folks respond to this review, know that you CANNOT receive reasonable customer service via their scripted ‘chat’. After a few minutes I called the ‘team member’ a bot and requested a human supervisor, who too, used the chat system to relay ‘canned’ responses. In some instances both ‘bots’ sent me identical responses and both told me that they have no phones for support… just the chat. Auto-billed from the time the ball arrived at UPS for pickup. A gift purchased weeks before its first use. The App was downloaded and used twice in past two weeks, but no ‘live’ experience ever attempted… but money was charged in the form of a monthly service fee to the card used for the Soccer Ball’s purchase. “We do not process refunds for the DU Live subscription. But I can offer you 2 months of free access to DU Live.” We were already supposed to get one month FREE, but apparently: “Yes, that is right. The DU Live free month actually started when you received the item. And your free month already expired on April 18. That is why you are being charged the monthly fee.” The problem is that I didn’t receive the item, UPS did (where it sat for 8-10 days). The problem is that this was a gift, wrapped for 2 weeks before handing it over. There was no opportunity for a FREE MONTH to see if a subscription was worth it before they began taking the money for a service NEVER used/accessed. Requiring me to deal with this in a non-human interaction just adds to the frustration. Making me log in and ‘unsubscribe’ to something that I had not used in order to avoid future charges is simply wrong. Customer service is dead - Dribble Up has proven it.
As advertised- this app is great for learning ball control et al. I use it daily.
DU is super good but I wish you could change your username and still have your progress.
It is a great app it’s just that you have to pay 10 bucks for a subscription
My son has procrastinated using DribbleUp and last night he finally decided to give it a shot. Had to force him to turn it off and go to bed, he likes the drills and the engagement of the recorded classes. Today he is going to try some of the live classes. He is stoked which is definitely exciting for us as parents!
Bought this for myself @ 45. Easy to install, use and apply skills. Worth it for anyone that needs a little visual stimulation to get motivated!
My son loves anything on a screen, so he’s loving this app. It’s easy to use, and he is improving his ability to complete the drills, which I believe will improve his ball handling once soccer season starts next week.
