I found these ladies a few years ago on youtube and have been a devoted fan since. I’ve purchased a few of their products along the way and have been happy with the mix of free and paid materials. The thing I loved most were the daily workouts and the monthly/seasonal challenges. Now you have to pay for both. There are so many others who provide safer and more researched workouts, I can’t think of a reason to stay and continue to buy. Review updated from 3 stars to 1 star to reflect childish behavior I received since posting an honest review. I’d like to add that I have tried reaching out to them directly to alert them to bugs in the app, but there is no response. There is also no longer an option to report bugs in the app.
Updated review: the latest update solved my problems! Love that recipes have been added to the app and programs. Price is great for all the content—especially when the cheapest gym you can find is still $120 a year (around here). Still wish customer support was easier to reach out to (and maybe not just an email form) but appreciated the acknowledgement when it came. Original: I was so excited when the new update launched but then the app kicked me out! Typically I can log back in with Facebook no problem but it keeps saying “Facebook login error”. I’ve tried to reach out multiple times to customer support through many channels but I’m still locked out of my app. Still being charged though. Very frustrated 😩
I’m so excited to try out the TIU Momma program! I really appreciate the variety of workouts offered. I haven’t been using the app long so I will update my review in a few weeks. 4 stars because it now recognizes my subscription but as soon as I hit “join program” the app closed out on me. When I opened it, it was still on the same page and marked me as joined so I’m not sure why it did that. Looking forward to using the app!
I normally never have problems using this app but most of the week I was unable to use it do to their update. They did reach out to me though and told me to try using my WiFi which ended up working out for me. I still can’t access it without the WiFi though. I do appreciate them getting back to me quickly. I love their workouts because they make it fun and I love their nutrition plans. All good stuff.
Shiera in customer service has been unable to help me in the slightest. I loved the app and had it for several months. I canceled my subscription—but continue to get charged. She’s unable to help in ANY way. After a week of Shiera wasting my time I just decided to cancel my card. I’m amazed at the level of incompetency or ability to help in even the most basic of ways. (Can’t find my email OR name—I suppose I’m just a fictional customer and these past SEVERAL months of continued charges aren’t real either...eyeroll)
Love the new updates! Now has recipes available. Also has workout programs, 2-6 weeks. Very user-friendly and pretty. Two fixes needed: 1. The app won’t open correctly on my iPad. The interface is too large and exceeds the frame. 2. On the iPhone, the horizontal orientation during videos doesn’t work. It defaults back to vertical, which is a very small picture. Please fix, thank you! 💞🏋🏻♀️
I am a huge TIU fan and opened the updated app SO excited to see the new features. While the nutrition information, new look, ability to favorite, etc, are all awesome— I can’t tell you how surprised and disappointed I was to see the studio is suddenly vanished without explanation. I’m missing the daily workout feature so much — it was literally the best part and the reason I have stuck with working out. I haven’t worked out consistently since the update because being in a program feels intimidating to me. I tried out a few and felt alone and over my head— the opposite of how inspired and positive I always used to feel using TIU. I went to on demand took forever to choose a workout and still felt alone. :((((( I never write reviews but TIU workouts, meditations, community and positivity have meant a lot to my confidence and mental health as a new mama. I know you’re getting tons of feedback and I’ve seen many of the blanket responses trying to tell us we will love the programs and new features and it’s just the beginning, but I’m hoping you please please truly consider bringing this feature back. I also wonder if K&K could address any of this with the community? I’ve honestly been feeling discouraged seeing all these happy posts from TIU on insta kind of ignoring the fact that some women are struggling using the app and staying on track with their goals. I know many women seem so happy with it all and I’m happy for them them, but I personally feel kind of excluded and like maybe I don’t belong here anymore if it’s all about challenges/programs and our voice doesn’t matter. I wish they would acknowledge it or say they’re considering the feedback, or working on it, or not. I don’t know if I should hold out any hope that the studio or daily workout may come back soon or if I should start looking into other programs that are less intimidating to me. :( I’m so sad about it and feel kind of in limbo in the meantime, not working out consistently or feeling good. I love the app and the programs you guys offer! Only gripe is that when I complete a workout for the program I selected (14 day slay) it does not mark the workouts complete and shows I have completed 0/10 workouts for week 2.. no matter how many times I do a workout... still shows nothing completed. Luckily the app update fixed the bug of the app logging me out everyday.. that got old very fast! Second gripe is that prior to the new update I did my workouts on my iPad because it’s a bigger screen and I could turn my iPad horizontally so that the video would be on the entire screen... now when I attempt to do workouts on my iPad..Turning my the IPad horizontally when a video starts results in the app flipping the image right back to the small vertical view even when my iPad is sitting horizontally. Very frustrating that the new app update doesn’t allow the iPad to be compatible while trying to play a video when it is horizontal— hope this can be fixed to work again??
I want to give it 5 stars because I loveeee this app and the workouts. But sadly.. my app won’t allow me to log in for 3 days now in the middle of a challenge I signed up for and am very excited about. What can be done to troubleshoot this problem. I have seen on Instagram several people can’t log into their apps either. :(
After update app no longer works without WiFi, completely defeating the purpose of a paid app. Additionally, when you searched the workouts by section it would show a brief description, the length of the workout (time) and equipment needed on the search screen without having to click on each workout. I love tone it up, but this update has ruined it for me.
