Great steaming service
I think Philo o Is a great streaming site. Love the channel line up
Over priced
It’s advertised for $25. You sign up and it’s actually $40+. I signed up for the free trial it told me after 7 days I’ll be paying $61. I played a show and there’s commercials! Pay all of that to have commercials. Rip off. Canceled immediately.
Awesome service BUT!
I was coming to share my thoughts and i decided to read some of the other reviews. I totally agree you play 10 min of ads. I pay for another service that offers some channels you don’t. I pay $15 dollars less and see less ads. And other services offer no ads and also way cheaper. But other than the 10 min of commercials I absolutely love the service.
Annoying issue
The Apple TV app has stopped refreshing. It’s stuck on the last thing I watch so I’m constantly having to log in and out to get it to update to the most current content. I tried contacting customer service and they told me to delete my other streaming apps as I probably have to many, which is not the answer. Please fix this glitch.
Not very good
Some times the app works, most of the time it just doesn’t. The UI is annoying and confusing. Shows will show up on some pages then not on another. When it works it’s fine but that’s pretty rare to be honest
The worst
I’ve only been on the app for two episodes of the show I’m watching and I am most definitely canceling. I cannot watch all the seasons of the show, only the last season. The ads are so long, it will literally show the intro to the show. Then the ads. Then back to the intro and more ads. I haven’t even watched other shows and I am not interested in doing so. Definitely canceling, also I see from the reviews that this app is still charging people even after canceling and not refunding the money. Shady business I should have read them before signing up.
The app for IPad
The app for IPad need to be updated it, with more user friendly tools, like forward and rewind buttons, so the user will be able to do those actions when watching something that was previously saved to watch later. Other then that, Philo is great, and I have it for over 3 years already.
Scam
Complete scam. When I signed up online I tried to add my fire stick and it asked for more money. I then tried to use the online version and nothing was viewable. All they want is your money. Stay away. Use YouTube tv.
Ruined…
I’m not sure what happened with the lastest update but now I cannot load this app on my iPad and repeatedly crashes on my phone. It’s my most expensive app but is the least functional, it’s beyond frustrating.
