Only worth downloading for an episode of Yellowstone. You have to watch 5 full minutes of ads every two scenes
I have no complaints about the service or channels of Philo, but I get frustrated when I update the app and lose features I love. For example, I would love it if you could bring back the checkmark icon that showed up after you watched a movie. I relied on this heavily to know if I had already watched a movie but had forgotten to unsave it after I watched it. I’m also frustrated that I can no longer see the date a movie aired on my iPhone. I can see the information when I use my Roku, but I’d like to see it on my Apple devices as well. Know when the show aired helps me figure out when one of my shows is expiring.

Love the app and the available shows but I was just looking at my subscriptions and did not realize I was being charged $20 a month! I watch about 5hrs of tv a month! When I signed up I agreed to $5/month and do not recall any information (or was able to go back and find anything) about it increasing. Pretty disgusted but I guess I should have paid more attention to my subscriptions. Responding to the reply from the developer. I would have never gotten the app if it was $25. I will be going back through my statements to find the original charges.

I love the low cost for the service the only thing that I do not like is the fact that Philo doesn’t have an app for my smart TV. I do not prefer to watch shows on my phone or IPad 98% of the time. There’s no casting to TV as well. If those features was available then I would have easy rated Philo 5 stars.
The service is great just wish it was easier to pick up where you left off on a show.
Would be better if you can apple AirPlay
I signed up only to watch Yellowstone. Downloaded the app on my phone, but can’t stream it to the TV. No options to download the app on my smart TV. Opened the internet browser on my Xbox thinking I could login online and watch it that way and you get an error code. I contacted customer support and not only could they not help me, they ended up closing the chat when they couldn’t talk their way around the issues of getting it to steam to the TV. For $25/month, you should be able to stream to the TV. What a waste.
