Scammed
They make it extremely difficult to cancel the membership. I’ve been going between the site, the email and the app for 10mins trying to find where to cancel. The help page apparently doesn’t work either as I’ve received an error message. Highly disappointed
Does not work on iPads
The app used to work on iPads, but stopped! I reported the glitch months ago. No response! Now when I hit the feedback or comment section, it is an incorrect web link so there is no way to get help with this anymore! I have Aton of recipes saved in here and I’m struggling transferring them to a different app. DO NOT sUBSCRIBE! They are awful! I wish I could get my money back!
Used to love it.
I really used to love it. I've had a Gold membership for several years, but now its constantly telling me to upgrade to gold. Why upgrade if I have to see all of the ridiculous ads? I tried to get help and it says I don't have a purchase to help with. Apple says my upgrade is good until March 🙄
Good Features Disappeared
The new update removed my gold features, and when I try and restore them the app crashes.
Best online recipe app I’ve used
I’ve really enjoyed using PrePear so far, and am thankful they haven’t completely eliminated the free user option (as has happened to me 2x with other apps). My only quibble is that the iPad app *still* doesn’t have landscape mode, which is the only way I use my iPad when cooking. So I just have to use the desktop mode, and I find that sometimes it freezes or hangs and I have to reload the page to get all my recipes to load. But otherwise I love that you can import recipes from blogs, which works for about 75-80% of the blogs I frequent. (Developers, please feel free to tell me if I just missed where I can switch to landscape mode in the app!)
just ok - marginally
The inability to copy and paste ingredients and instructions into another app dings it a lot. I sent the link to my husband (who does not have the app) in order to copy / paste and it wouldn’t even open the recipe from the web. Canceled my (way too expensive anyway) subscription.
Nice app
I originally downloaded this app because the name aligned with a family joke for me, but it’s actually pretty decent. The UI’s clean, and the connection to Walmart’s online shopping is neat. The subscription is super over-the-top though.
Pls add Landscape
The way it is now is ideal for phones, but I want to experience this from my iPad. The app only operates in portrait mode, so that limits me. Otherwise, a fantastic app! I would quickly change this review to 5 stars if this issue were fixed.
Worked and now won’t
I was really excited about this app and used it for two or three weeks and now I constantly have to log in. When in the pages won’t load. Sometimes I can see one page like the planner but if I switch to another screen, it’s blank. I wish it still worked because it was a great tool.
Didn’t get what I paid for
I signed up for the gold membership, which is a pretty penny, but I was happy to do it. I liked the app during the trial and so I paid for the membership. But even though I was charged, and it is showing that I have an active subscription, the app does not recognize this. So there are ads everywhere, and none of the recipes have instructions. I reached out to their service them but never heard back. I’m very disappointed, and feel swindled.
