I love the Studio product overall—classes are excellent, instructors truly are motivating, there’s a fantastic selection and music is lit. Downside: as of Aug 2019 the app needs some serious work. It’s clunky to use and is limiting overall. Classes are super unorganized and you have to do a ton of scrolling and waiting for pages to load just to get to the starting point for any series. Needs a class/series list function for more agility. Also, as of today each class can only be taken once...which is a major bummer if you have an issue and need to stop 2 min into a class...can’t retake it later.
It charged me for the month but now the app won’t let me log on!! I’ve tried via Facebook (which it says I’ve logged on through before) and I’ve tried by email (including trying to reset password) but it won’t let me in!! Now I’m trying to contact the company to stop my subscription but there isn’t contact information anywhere!! May have to go through my bank and cancel that way!
I have been going through Orangetheory withdrawals since I canceled my account last year. When I saw this app my heart skipped a beat. Studio did not disappoint. I was so happy and sweaty after my workout. I can’t wait to try the next one!
The idea of this app is great. But it is overpriced! And they keep charging me after I cancel my membership two months ago! Terrible customer service!
This app is awesome!! I’m a big fan of OTF and shred 415. HIIT workouts are my favorite. I was doing Beachbody workouts but saw an ad for this app and figured I would try it out. I love the workouts BUT I wish there was a way to know exactly what’s in the workout... like the HIIT 2019 is it arm day? Leg day? Total body day?? There is no way to know until you’ve begun the workout and there is no way to rewind or pause and resume it later in the day.... I’ve heard there is an upgrade coming in September and I hope it addresses some of these issues. I also have really liked some classes and have wanted to do them again but it won’t let you repeat classes. I’ve also had issues with my Apple Watch not tracking my workout. So I did a 40 minute workout but on my Apple Watch it says I have like 5 exercise mins for the day 🤦🏻♀️ I just use the apple exercise tracker and have stopped syncing with the app until it’s more reliable. Other than that I love the app and it’s given me some good butt kicking workouts that make me sweat. I feel like I’m in a class but from the comfort of my own home or gym. I love that I can get a good workout in on my own schedule and I love this app preferred to beachbody because they walk you through the moves and you don’t have to be watching a video.
I love this app specifically for the treadmill workouts as I just don’t have the motivation at all to run on the treadmill. There just always seems to be a glitch almost every time I open my app and it’s super frustrating! I want to continue with the app but if the problems don’t get fixed I unfortunately will be unsubscribing as I don’t want to waste anymore $ on something that just isn’t working. I hope things get fixed quickly..
This is the most similar app. Good workouts and great instructors. The only thing i wish they did is to put a description of the thread mill work outs to help choose better
Best in-home workout studio ever! Upbeat, motivating... you choose what you are in the mood for any time of day.
Although this app does what it says, I do not enjoy it. I bounce from several workout apps everyday so I thought I’d give this one a try. 1. Choosing a workout is hard because it literally gives zero description 2. The trainers are cheerleaders but not really giving you any running advice or guidance. Just yelling into a mic that has the sound up too high. So I lower the volume but then I can’t hear the music. 3. I also don’t like how it takes over my Apple Watch. I understand it needs that info for the leader board, which I really like but since I really didn’t like the trainers it didn’t matter.
I am new to this app and LOVED it the first day I used it. When I went to workout the second day, I wanted to do the same workout again but I was unable to do so. In trying to figure out how to redo the workout from the day before I accidentally started a similar workout. I immediately stopped it just to find out it logged it as “completed” and I can’t do that workout now either. This is important because a lot of the workouts seem to be more advanced. I used to be a well rounded athlete but after multiple serious health issues I’m trying to work myself back into shape. I would have loved to use this app, but I will go through the workouts I’m able to do very quickly. I reached out to customer support and was told this was a temporary issue, but it will probably not be fixed until September. I will revisit the app at that time and see if anything has changed if I’m unable to find a replacement.
