Update 11/23/22: developer reached out to me which is great and yes I did give the app a 1 star when I had it at a 4 star because as good as the app is if the developer doesn’t keep up on the app then it’s pointless. iOS 16 came out in June so there should be ample time to figure out the action button and other bugs with workarounds. Giving the app a 4 doesn’t vote to drive further change. I tried this app on the series 7 and because of the watches lack of tactile buttons and me finding out I hate running marathons whilst fiddling with a touch screen and of course the poor battery life. All downfalls of the watch not the app. I abandoned the watch and went to an Epix 2. But I’m giving the Ultra a try and low and behold this app has not been upgraded to make use of the Activity button. Now I know the developer per say. He’s very engaged with his customers. In fact when I was having issues with my series 7 we’d email. He’s extremely responsive. That said please please add the ability to customize the Activity button now. That is all. I give the app right now a 1 star because hardware and software need to be working in harmony. What good is a Porsche if the performance is governed by an outdated ECU aka software aka Workoutdoors. If the story is that you’re still building the app in your garage then charge more and hire more developers. We are pulling for you.
I’ve never seen a sports app or any other app quite as fully customizable and rich in features. If your looking for the one, this is it!
Add a rest time between weight lifting sets timer as a possible widget in the weightlifting screen… I was hoping to have everything integrated and I know I could just look at the elapsed time. However, mentally, it’s easier to hit a button to start a customizable count down (60secs - 120.. etc.) zone out a bit and get working on the next set as soon as the timer goes off (haptic/audio alert) I can do this by getting out of the workout screen to my Apple Watch home and hitting the timer shortcut. However, an app as advanced as this one should have this in there already. Thanks !
This is the missing app that Apple should include on their devices. I love the complete customization of workout screens. And maps while trail running added by this app are critical and bring this Apple Watch up to par (almost) with the Garmin watches that have maps. Would like distances and elevation to waypoints added so you could see your next goal while racing (how far to next rest station or to the top of this huge hill). Thanks for the wonderful work you put into this app and for keeping it subscription free.
A fantastic app with every workout type and metric that you can imagine (and then some) that is highly configurable. I had a question about an iPhone setting that would allow tracking the number of steps, and the developer himself replied to my email promptly. An excellent app with excellent support at an excellent price.

I mainly use this for running, cycling, walking, and yoga. But man, this has it all and some. Solid job to the developer(s) for this app. Helps track so much data that the Apple Watch is capable of but not available in the generic health app. Well done, thank you!
This app blows my mind with how many features it has. The watch app is completely configurable to whatever needs you have. It has every option I could imagine. It’s also so cheap for the power it provides! The developers are obviously true fitness enthusiasts who want to give us everything. Thank you! My recommendation is to sit down for an hour and really dig in to the different options for the various screens on the watch app. The default configurations are very good but everyone has different goals. Once you start customizing it you’ll start to appreciate the power and depth of the analytics and live stats available to you. I set up my primary running screen to have huge numbers for average pace and instantaneous pace. These are the two stats most relevant to me at the moment but on my secondary screens I can see granular detail on absolutely anything I want. Amazing! I can even get map navigation and gpx files for trail runs. Truly awesome. Works great on all watches but it’s a necessity if you have the Apple Watch ultra. This is app makes it a truly pro-level fitness watch.
