I work in a hospital and we have a lot of diversity here. A lot of patients come in and we can’t understand them and we don’t always have translators here at night, so we’re usually just on our own until dayshift comes in. I found this app and tried to use it to speak with a woman last night who knew very little English-and voila, it worked! I was able to effectively and accurately speak with her throughout the entire shift.
Not free. Entry screen says continue which actually means pay. App is not worth paying for and unethically tricks users into subscribing. My wife was tricked into a year subscription and couldn’t get a refund. Note the boilerplate reply to the complaints avoiding admitting there is a problem. Avoid this developer.
This is the equivalent of a tourist trap. It is not accurate, nor free. The app is misleading, because it is advertised as free. The setup process is designed in such a way that they lead you to check the pricing plans. However, to do so you have to tap on a large orange “Continue” button. This leads you to think that you are just checking the pricing plans. However, just tapping on the button subscribes you to the monthly plan. The button is intentionally labeled “Continue”, instead of “Subscribe”. The developer has lots of similar comments, because several users have been mislead into a subscription they never wanted or asked for. These practices make the app store a bad place and should be stopped. Bad app, bad translations, misleading language, this is a plain tourist trap. You are much better off with Google Translate. Keep off from this useless tourist trap !
Definitely not a free app!
If you have more than Spanish/English (based on the graphic, you should), whoever designed the app is incompetent. Gave up after a couple minutes. No explanation will lead me to give it another chance. I don’t mind paying a subscription to a good app, but if it isn’t easy to navigate from the get-go, forget it. Editor’s Choice? Seriously?
Epic good app!
This can be usd to learn or let the other person converse with you (pun intended)
this app is such a bruh moment
It works, but this is ridiculously expensive ($40 PER YEAR) for something that the Google translate app does for free. Sorry, no.
REALLY wants you to get the upgrade to pro. Too upfront about it and very off putting. App works good and I am interested in the pro but it’s a bit pricey.
