The Bergen Record is now on the iPad and the iPhone! Introducing The Bergen Record Print Edition app, where subscribers can read The Bergen Record on an iPad or an iPhone with all the stories, photos and ads shown just as it appears in print.
Title says it all.
This app used to be good before USA Today took over. Been using it for years, now it won’t even download or show any editions this entire week. It’s horrible
As of Jan 1 my Record app stopped downloading the printed edition of the Record... l Gabor been reading this paper since the 60s but it has become too hard...physical paper is too expensive and their online product doesn’t work
So frustrated that this stupid app does not open 50% of the time. FIX IT. I pay top dollar for this content and can’t read it. Absolutely zero technical support.
I really like reading this paper online.. although I enjoy reading a real paper, this is a great alternative. It was especially helpful during a recent vacation. I can see this as a great way to keep up with the news, events, scores etc. when traveling, or during inclement weather. Thank you designers! You did a great job!
The app is fine. But one annoying thing is when you swipe from one page to the next, the next page is at the same spot where you just swiped from. Meaning, if you read to the bottom of a page, and when you swipe to the next, you’re at the bottom of the next page and you have to swipe up to begin reading that page.
Well done to the designers! This is exactly how a digital version of a printed newspaper should work. The quick jump to articles, the page by page browse, and the off-line editions are are terrific features. Everything is easy and intuitive. About the only thing missing when I get done is the ink on my fingers. Great job!
