Sure, it isn’t perfect but think of the millions of plants that are out there. I am thrilled to have a resource that can at least narrow down the huge amount of weird plants I spot all over the Northwest. I’m giving it 5 stars for affordability, ambition, plant knowledge and ease of use. I bet that as more users feed in photos, it will get better and better. Hey—I bet if there was an option to select your geographic region, it would be useful too. Thanks!
I haven't had this app get even ONE plant right! It's terrible!
Really doesn’t See many plants
If you read the instructions and watch the videos this app works amazingly well (how you take the photo is key). If you have a fairly good knowledge of plants you can find basically anything. I love the fact that you can contribute to the knowledge base as well. Well done!!!!!
I almost ate hemlock because the app identified it as cow parsley, but uh, other than that it’s pretty decent
Couldn’t recognize a Foxglove and an Impatiens. I was so excited to think I could finally get to know the plants of my adopted country and this app couldn’t ID two garden staples. I’m sure not goin to trust it out in the field.
So far so good.... I know lots of plants already.... this app confirms and lets me share my findings.... GET APP
I bought this app with high expectations however first plant I snapped is giving me two different names. One photo of the leaf says it is white ash and photo of berries and flowers say it is sacred bamboo! I need more accurate results.
Total waste of time and money. Was really excited when I saw this app. Huge let down!
“It’s Not Me It’s You” is a terrible way to end a relationship and a worse way to respond to paying customers. Their “the best defense is a good offense” approach of quoting their YouTube videos doesn’t work. There are plenty of us who correctly use the app only to have it give ridiculous random results nothing like the photos submitted. It’s YOU, developers. not we customers you’ve duped, that have failed. And I hope my fellow customers will join me in seeking refunds from the App Store and an investigation into this app. ****** And the Developer response, as I predicted, is blaming the customer. My review has nothing to do with Apple telling lies. Your app doesn’t work. We are using it correctly and no matter how often you say it’s our fault it’s not. At this point I’d want a refund for your snotty attitude even if it did work. Refund my money. Now. Snap that.
