Do not pay or update

Do not pay or update. The banner doesn’t remove and the app doesn’t work offline on the iPhone even on the latest iOS. When I am on airplane mode, it still ask for me to connect to the internet. I paid for the whole year thinking the above. I would like a refund. I am out of $20. Outside of these two issues, I do like the app. I love that it goes to the next page on its own. It would be nice if with longer scriptures, they would fit the page.

Love it

I absolutely love this app!!! I am going to even pay to use it! Absolutely love the dramatized voice reading. I follow asking in my Bible and it makes reading it so much more enjoyable. Pause and start again so easy! It saves your place. Love love love it!!

Don’t upgrade!

There’s not enough of a benefit to paying for the upgrade. My banner goes away most of the time, but you can’t download to phone for offline use (add infers you can in the banner, but when you select it - it goes to purchase options). Misleading. Trying to get ahold of Audio Bible by phone is difficult - so customer service is also poor. Enjoy it free - it’s got lots of voice options.

Junk

I got this app so I can listen to the Bible in chronological order. It plays the Bible in a daily Bible reading format which makes it worthless to me. You can’t access it by chapter and verse only by day of the year. So if you want to hear some thing, you have to scroll through the days to find it. Absolutely worthless.

Finished The Bible - now on round 2

This review is not about any glitches, as are common with all apps as they are being developed. This review is to express a deep thank you to the makers and developers. With this app I was able to reach a lifelong goal of finishing The Bible. I used the audio and also read along at the same time for my morning devotionals. The audio readings helped me stay focused and absorb the scriptures. I am now on the second round and chose dramatized NIV and it does not disappoint! It is very worth downloading this app and reading with audio. I’ve highly recommended it to various friends already and strongly believe this app is anointed.

A+ FANTASTIC!

Have used this for a handful of years. Allowing to listen verse by verse with its various functions is just terrific. Listening in my car, on my Alexis at home or on EarPods allows so much access to the Lord’s heart in His Word. Doesn’t matter the very small cost monthly. That enables and blesses Bible Gateway.

Freezes after few minutes

I have an iPad 6 with iOS fully updated. This app freezes after playing for a few minutes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times with no improvement. I paid the annual subscription and downloaded the Max McLean NIV, and I have same trouble playing other bible versions via WI-FI.

Very limited bible reading plans and annoying ads. Popularity One year plan (NLT) is missing. Not worth downloading!

Dysfunctional application

The audio Bible no longer opens. It’s been removed from my desktop on my cell phone, and as I attempt to reinstall, I just get the spinning symbol without any update, or the app opening up at all. How do I get my refund.
