I’ve been using this for about a month as a replacement to a paper planner. I’ve tried a lot of to-do apps and this one is almost perfect. My only complaints are that the iPhone and iPad apps are very slow at syncing with each other (when other apps I use do not have this issue), so it could look like I have to-do’s on my iPad that I actually completed days ago on my iPhone. This happens really often, about 50% of the time. The other knock is that, unlike their Journal app, there is no native Mac app and the web version they point you to is very, very limited. Our organization runs on Mac and iOS, so being able to pull this into our workflow would be very helpful. That said, I’m going to stick with it for now and see if they can iron some of these things out, because it really is a great app.
This app is an intuitive task manager with a sleek, clean user interface. It’s very easy to manage multiple projects on it. I’d like the option of selecting list colors via Hex code though?
It’s beautiful and I love how it works with TimePage. I do wish the actions were listed in the order in which I have given them a reminder time, rather than the order in which I added them. Even better if they could slide in between my events on TimePage according to their reminder time. I choose a reminder time based on when I think I will have a few minutes to get a particular task done, and it would be nice to have that visually represented. Or it might be nice if I could attach a time commitment estimate to an action, so that if I am going through my day and I find 15 minutes unexpectedly, I can tackle something that I have already determined will take 15 mins or less.
Please enable this app to sync with reminders app and include time of day. Or just merge with Timepage. And create the perfect app. Every time I import from reminders it creates duplicate reminders in Actions.
Action is a very organized app to with with time page as it only works by itself it has no. Relationship with the default reminders app so if you have any other apps that speaks to reminders this app will not as it only imports from it nothing more. After using it I like the integration but this means actions will not help you outside of the application itself l, it's designed to only work with time page, I will not be using this app until there's a native reminders app sync option. 2 stars because it's useless without the reminders app and only updates with one app and the time it's been around still has not sync options.
My wife and I used this to keep track of everything, and we mostly loved the interface and especially the drag and drop functionality. It’s simple but effective. But after too many times hunting for a recurring to-do only to discover that it’d somehow stopped recurring (and therefore missing several deadlines), we’ve had to say bye bye to Actions. This problem has existed since we began using Actions about two years ago, and I just can’t take the risk anymore. Sad because I use Timepage and enjoy the dual functionality. Another problem is the sync is slow sometimes—I have to wait a few seconds after loading before I can do anything in the app.
I downloaded this app cause it seemed like the best app for what I was looking for and I can’t even use it without paying and subscribing so I had to uninstall.
I signed up for the Moleskine Studio bundle subscription in the Flow app, which states that it also includes Actions & Timepage apps. However this app does not detect the bundle subscription, does not even offer the bundle subscription as an option, prompts you to purchase a monthly or annual subscription when you tap anywhere in it so essentially unusable and the information claimed in Flow about the bundle subscription is false advertising. Crazy.
Tasks that I’ve completed constantly reappear for me to reschedule, it’s incredibly annoying!
It's a gorgeous app and very simple to use. That's where my praise ends. Why this app doesn't sync with ios reminders is mind boggling. Even half baked reminder apps do this. Also please consider adding a due date and better snooze options. These are pretty critical additions for productivity. Tldr: give us a real reason to pay for this over ios reminders. Being pretty isn't enough. Icloud sync is absolutely mandatory to even consider paying for this.
