Apparently they ask to contact their help support but wont return any emails or replies. I emailed them twice and still no replies. Its been almost a month now since my first email to them. Problem is I cant login using my ODK account.
Kocowa made the Apple TV app subpar. The “other drama” app that hosts Kocowa content is much better, but lacks the full content that Kocowa had. Examples of why the Apple TV app is so terrible: • Non-standard integration with media controls. When Apple TV is playing Kocowa content, HomeKit does not recognize it’s playing, so you cannot use HomePod or iPhone to pause, rewind, etc. • No Apple TV app integration. You don’t see the content in the native TV app. • “Tab navigation” up above requires an extra click (highlight, then click) and sometimes, it doesn’t even register the first time • The app requires authentication every couple days. This is incredibly dumb because I don’t want to be tied to my phone, yet this app requires me to sign in too often. • Search is not robust at all. You also apparently need to specially select when you’re searching by Actor/Actress, because apparently that’s not a sane default filter? I pay for premium but will likely cancel and just put up with “the other app”. The only reason I liked this app is because it has way more content. But it’s clear engineering or user experience is not a core competency with Kocowa.
I really like kocowa and Viki. I mostly used Viki, but since last year, the TV version of the app did not let me watch episodes, it always said that there was an error but it didn’t make sense. I mostly watched shows on my tv, so it was very frustrating that the app was bugging on tv but on my iPad and phone, it worked really well. I had premium subscription bc I wanted kocowa+, but i wasn’t gonna tolerate me not being able to watch whatever I wanted, so I switched to just kocowa, and I’m glad, but again, the TV app for Kocowa is not the same as the kocowa app for iPads or smartphones. So it will be nice if you could upgrade the TV APP for Kocowa, and allow viewers to see what’s on the app as easy as it is on iPad and smartphones. I even forgot that I have a watchlist because it doesn’t appear on my TV but it appears on my iPad. It would be nice it you guys fix the TV version of the app, I really don’t wanna have to unsubscribe because I cannot access or see things on the app.

I love the content that is available on this app, which is where the 3 stars rating comes from. The aesthetic of the app is great, but the user experience could be improved. I do not like that I have to scroll through all of the episodes to find the first one instead of being able to easily sort it. The search functionality is quite slow and not always accurate. For example, I searched “Running Man” and while “Running Man” did show up, it was not the first result and “Running Man Classic” was near the very bottom, despite the fact that it was the exact phrase that I searched for. I also do not like that when I am watching something and cast it to my TV, it does not save the progress I made on the episode so I have to manually go find the last episode I watched and scrub through the episode until I find the point that I was last watching. It’s a hassle and enough of an inconvenience that I would most likely not resubscribe, as it takes up too much time when other streaming services do not have this issue.
Let me preface this by saying that I like the service, but the iPad app and the Apple TV app are awful. In this day and age how is there no continue watching button anywhere? I do like the fact it has more episodes of the variety shows I watch but for how clunky and limited the apps are I’m not sure I’ll use it much longer. People have been begging for a continue watching feature forever. We shouldn’t have to go into our history to see where we left off. Id love to see my actual watchlist on the main screen too not buried at the bottom. The search feature is awful, unless you have the exact title you won’t get any results.
I just bought my subscription 2 days ago, everything was fine but today I could access the app at all, even thou I have entered the right email and password several times… is there an outage? Why the company doesn’t say anything? Paid 80 bucks for nothing? I hope you give me credit for this problem!
When u want to buy kocowa+ on the app it says 3.99 but when u actually buy it its really 6.99. So idk if its wrong and its supposed to be 3.99 but if its 6.99 please change it in the app its misleading people to believe that it is not expensive.

I already have my subscription and signed in though my TV, but it’s asking me to purchase another subscription. Why do I have to pay twice? I’m not even sharing with others since I have no family in the US. Can you explain and if possible, can I get a refund so that I can repurchase subscription through my TV?
