Overall, Lake is a great game. I love that you can see other people’s art and support them. But the amount of art you get (for free) is not fair. There are 60 coloring books, which seems like a lot, but you only get 1 coloring page for each book. It makes the number a LOT smaller when you think about preferences; my brother, for example, doesn’t want the ones with flowers or “cute” things. I don’t really want the ones with monsters and such, and sometimes I don’t like the artist’s style, the art itself, or I just don’t like a specific thing about it, which only gives me about 20 things to color— and that is about the size of a 7-year-old’s coloring book. The one-a-day coloring pages are occasionally cool, but they’re usually simple designs that don’t leave much space for creativity. I think it would be better to let you have more pages without having to pay. Maybe you could watch an ad to get a page?? Besides all that, I really do think it’s a good game.
I do love this app. I love the paint effects, and the supply of independent artists and unique drawings. However, I do believe that $8 a month is too expensive for something like this. I would happily pay up to $12 once to buy the app, and watch ads after that. I understand that the artists should be paid, but I feel like there are other ways to do that.
In this they only give you bad or only a short few to draw. I had started and there were only like 4 thing for me to pick from. Ridiculous
Really good ❤️soothing nice
I feel like when I joined this app I couldn’t stop 🛑 playing with it. I knew right away this was going to be my favorite app in my gallery. My parents are really liking this app. Please download this app is AMAZING 😉 but I mean AMAZING 😉. Thank you for reading my review💗.
The pros are there are many color options, freehand or blocking inside the lines available, zoom available, colors used bar available, different tools available (paint brush, eraser, aresol, etc.) and a free pic a day.The cons include the brush stroke size not adjustable, the color wheel can be a pain to work with, very limited free pictures, and it is very expensive subscriptions as the only other alternative to picture access is 8 dollars a week or 60 dollars a year!
I really like this app and only after a few days I got a subscription. I think it’s cool I get to color work from artists I’ve seen and admire. I wish there was a skin tone palette. All the skin tones I seem to manage don’t look right or feel real. I also wish the back button extended more, but I think having a skin tone palette would be awesome!
Crashes a lot while coloring or after switching apps and there is no easy way to quickly save your work.
This app is great except for removing the buy outright option on just one coloring book. It gives the user the option of choosing which coloring books they like because not everyone likes all of the coloring books offered.
