The free version is almost useless. They made almost every feature “premium”. It also fails miserably for louder sounds. Almost always a half step flat for my voice and if the volume gets to loud it freaks out and reads a D6? Useless for fast passages as it takes at least 5 seconds to determine a pitch and it cannot handle vibraro. Might be good for a teeny tiny little voice but useless for a developed voice or brass instruments. Even my speaking voice reads something like B2. I am a soprano and could never a reach a note that low.
The app won’t even open
This app is great for finding and matching a pitch, or for tuning or something
show the price in appstore next time jfc i hate sneak pricing. i may have paid if it was here but screw it now
There no way inside the app to manage your subscription or to see which settings you have enabled.
The app doesn’t even work. As soon as you open it and allow access to your microphone, it crashes and will continue to crash any time you try to open it. Useless- don’t bother.
I wanted to find a tuner that looked nice, most of the popular ones look terrible and also don’t have the function for holding a drone for any note. The tuner has a minimalistic design, and it works so well! I honestly don’t think tracking how in tune you are is useful, it always says I’m not in tune based on a few cents but that really doesn’t matter to the human ear. Plus it doesn’t work well for fast passages. I never paid attention to it but it’s useful for just tuning my violin. I can use it as a drone when I play scales so I can train my ear. I have been using this app pretty much since it came out I love this app. I was getting really sad when I opened the app and it was completely black and didn’t load so then I deleted and re-downloaded it again and it worked just fine. That made me want to write this review because I was not going to go back to the old, ugly tuner apps again. Thanks so much for making this app.
I never had a problem using this app I paid for and now I can’t even use it just to use the tuner because I need a membership? What kind of stuff is this.
I read the reviews and decided it might be worth the $100/year. So I re-installed it and went through all the welcome stuff. When I got to the pay page I realized it wanted to charge me $5.99 per WEEK!!!!! I opened the App Store entry on my computer and clicked the support link, which took me to their absolutely useless web page. I just don’t understand how any one can justify $300/year for this app.
