Here’s what medical students are saying about us: “AMBOSS is the resource that we’ve been waiting for — its integrated platform helped me study smarter and set a new personal best.” —Michelle Lundholm, Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University “I used AMBOSS for the first time on my Neurology Shelf and scored the highest I have all year (95th percentile). The difficulty of the questions, excellent explanations, and breadth of the Qbank adequately prepared me to perform well on test day!” —MS3 Student, Creighton University School of Medicine "The highlighting and attending tips are excellent. They are a push in the right direction to encourage critical thinking. This is especially important early in a clerkship when the knowledge base is not that strong...no one else is doing that.” —Michael McClurkin, Harvard Medical School Terms: https://www.amboss.com/us/terms
I got to know AMBOSS in the middle of my preparation for USMLE /step 1 last year. Currently I use it for step 2 CK preparation It is the best medical library you can find for the preparation for many reasons : 1 . Very well organized topics 2. Excellent illustrating images and videos 3. High resolution histopathological images with labels which made me improved in the weakest part I was in 4. Q bank with very close similarity to the real exam And too many other reasons Yes can not recommend it enough for everything me there
Hi, I think amboss is an amazing resource. I am in my preclinical years and this is by far the best bang for your buck. The questions range from easy to hard, and I mean challenging your mind brain hurts hard. The explanations are fabulous and the integration between the library and knowledge is nothing spectacular but gets the job done. The reason why I didn’t give this 5 stars has nothing to do with the quality of amboss but the app doesn’t allow you to highlight key things in the passage which is a super downfall because that’s how I take my tests. Also, I only use my iPad for school so I cannot reap the benefits of using the amboss Anki add on on my iPad, which is disappointing. Overall love the app and recommend it for anyone who wants to challenge themselves and be a better doctor.
Plz add highlighter quality so we can easily highlight using different colors.
Any discounts available now days ?
Hope and pray the AMBOSS team never take over writing for USMLE. The minutiae and constant distracted sin every question is exhausting. The only real use is the library. The question bank does not prepare you for step style questions in any way, shape, or form.
Highly recommend it
I really enjoy the app and I consider it a must for every medical student. However I personally have two problems. First when I try to update the library, it seems to be stuck in a loop and won’t update the content. Second is when I try to open the tables, it won’t load and it gives me a blank page. If you fix this issue I would gladly give it a 5 star.thank you
The best medical reference
AMBOSS is great! The only thing is that I can’t highlight in my qbank while using a mobile device.
