I was watching an anime and then an ad come’s up about 3 ads were shown then the anime resumes literally 5 seconds later another ad comes up I couldn’t take it anymore so I just deleted the app. (Worst anime streaming app ever to exist right next to crunchy roll.)
I have been using VRV premium for at least 5-6 years now and their channels continue to disappear. Before they had crunchyroll, a nickelodeon channel and hidive. They took away the nick channel which I understand but then I found out today hidive was also removed. It is NOT worth it paying that much only for Crunchyroll. I'm highly disappointed and just canceled my premium.
Deleted it To save space and re-downloaded to watch the free version but it won't let me get back on
I can’t recommend this app to anyone honestly. If the video doesn’t totally freeze when ads pop up you’ll have to sit through 4 geico commercials in a row before your show starts again. That’s only one of the three commercial breaks per 30 minute episode. Give VRV a pass and try Funimation or anything else really.
I think they fixed the add thing it works perfect I cried happy tears when it was on the App Store because I would watch anime at my grammas house when she was still alive and let me tell you it’s better than 2020 they fixed all the bugs that I can see but if any thing happens I’ll let you know.
I can watch VRV on my roku tv and enjoy so much anime for free without the worry of catching a virus. I mean sure there are tons of ads but im beginning to find them as nice little breaks to ponder my thoughts on the anime. Or a break from bingeing. VRV has a great selection of course not every anime is on here and having to wait 7 days to see a new episode is a bit annoying but reliable as ever.
I’m not gonna lie VRV is amazing free videos of basicly any show, anime, and other things but one main issue is 3 ads per video which is a little excessive I know they need it to pay the creators of the work and for money that they need to pocket but it seems like a little to many for a 20 min video and not to mention that you cant skip these ads and theres 2 of them kinda like YouTube does but overall VRV is awsome
The app has some great shows but it’s broken. It will present a show as having multiple seasons and/or having a dubbed version but it won’t give the option to select the next season or the dub. I feel like I also have to add that the customer service is nonexistent.
The app works fine for the most part. The biggest issue is lack of offline support. For example, it is possible to download video for offline viewing, but I am unable to open the app when I am not connected to the internet; it loads forever.
I’ve been a customer with VRV for a few years now and recently they’ve been sleeping on there ip . More than half of the English dub are gone or don’t work. Even if it say English dub there’s no where to select it in drop down. But even if you want to watch regular sub most shows don’t show up, specifically if there’s a season 2. Just get Crunchyroll or Funimation. 10X better and cheaper.
