About AutoSleep ----------------- Using Advanced Heuristics AutoSleep works out how long you've slept so you don't have to. If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning. Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple. If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply take your Watch off before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping. As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper. If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis. *Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping. AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health. *Requires Apple Watch running Watch OS 4 or higher. WatchOS 5 recommended.
Had the app for 3 days and it’s been very interesting. Needed to monitor my sleep to extend my life a bit longer. Many men we know died at 52-53 the past 12 months and I’m just around the corner. My sleeping habit has been a mess and my BP is rising. The app just forced me to add two hours to my sleep time and I’m already feeling better. However, my sleep last night was broken up into two segments. First quarter of my sleep was in the family room from 11 pm to 1 am while I wait for my wife to finish her work. Then we moved to the bedroom at around 1:30 before going back to sleep at 2 am. The app didn’t record my sleep in the family room for some reason and it may be because I had my AirPods on listening to music while I slept. Wonder if the app monitors the phone’s activities as well and not just its movements. However, the first two nights were very accurate. We’ll see what happens tonight when I jump into bed without AirPods and music. Nevertheless, the app’s UI is wonderful and full of information though it could be overwhelming to new users. But you quickly get accustomed to all it’s features the more you use it. My biggest gripe is changing the way I charge my watch.
This app is incredibly inaccurate, whether I am using the lights out feature or not. If I really only got 2-3 hours of sleep a night I would feel like a zombie Try a different app.
I works great
I work as an EMT. This was the real test. I have 3 days off in a row and work the next 4 days, (graveyard). I figured it would be easy for the app to track my sleep on my days off (normal sleep time 10pm-6am) and It was. The real test would be tracking it on my work days, because I may get to sleep 2-3 hours non-consecutive, depending on how busy it gets, on top of that I sleep some more when I get home in the morning. The sleep tracking during my shift/day looked like this 30min@2:40am, woke up to a call, go back to sleep for 3hrs @5:00am, got off, went home and sleep another 4hrs at 9:00am. On point, averaging about 7hrs of sleep, nonconsecutive, and little to none “deep sleep” (already used to it). The app got confused at night time at first thinking “why isn’t he asleep already?, it’s 10pm” as the previous nights, it thought I wasn’t wearing the watch. That was the real test, the ability to accurately track sleep on odd times during my shift. Sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up, go home and sleep more. Outstanding!
It is so accurate and I love the sleep ring colors you can change. I like the credit/debt info as well. Works so well with my Apple series 5 watch. I like how it records my washroom breaks to the minute, in gray color in the sleep ring. It made paying for my watch worth it. 5 STARS!!!!
Very accurate and informative
This app pushes my Apple Watch way past my Fitbit. The app indicated I have a lot of problems sleeping. I was able to export 3 months of data to take to my initial Sleep Disorder doctor appointment. The data helped him come to conclusion for my diagnosis and treatment. We are undergoing additional testing but this app data gave him an idea of what additional testing to do. I never realized how little sleep I got and that fatigue was a large part of some of my other issues.
Incredible for understanding not only your sleep but your overall health. Tons of detailed data and wonderfully displayed. Trends and ability to customize your experience are top notch. Miles beyond any other sleep app out there. I’ve tried them all!
Be wary of all the recent 5 stars. This app does not work as advertised anymore. It was great up until 4~6 months ago. The family of apps from this developer were solid but have stopped working. The developer has also stopped responding to issues around the same time. I don’t know what changed - maybe they’re more interested in selling to another company than continuing to invest/develop a good product..??
This has helped me track my sleep for a few weeks now and it truly allows me to analyze what helps me sleep and what does not
