This is my go-to weather app. Love their website as well!

I use this for work (aviation) and for personal planning. It is the single best weather source I have, including government and military products. You can customize it to see as much or as little as you want, and it’s very intuitive. Can’t recommend enough.
FINALLY! - A weather app for adults. This app is amazingly sophisticated and deep with information enough to satisfy the most dedicated weather geek, yet simple enough so that you can see all the details of a 10 day forecast in one chart. The animated wind and storm overlays are absolutely the best I’ve seen in any weather app. The only thing lacking is a detailed video analysis of the weather situation for a particular area, but these are fraught with ads in other weather apps, and with a little education and the information provided by this app you could nearly compose your own video.
I must revise my previous review. I was able to restore my purchase. While I was able figure it out on my own the developer did reached out quickly with an offer to help. As a full time RVer weather is important and while precipitation forecasts are important, the wind forecast is equally important. Windy.com is an app I use in deciding when it’s okay to travel to when it’s time to hunker down and wait out the wind. After months of use I have come to trust the wind forecast and use the app just about every day.
The information is accurate. Great! Is there a view of the locations I’ve marked as my favorite the has a dashboard look of the current readings? This is an app named “Windy”. The only view has the temp and wind in a badge at the lower left in a font that is unreadably tiny.
First off, this is simply the best. It gives you all the data you could reasonably expect in an intuitive and easy-to-use format. As a fellow software developer, I appreciate the amount of work and attention to detail needed to get something like this working. That being said, I have one tiny bug and two feature requests. The bug: At least on my iphone 8, when I expand the daily forecast to be “hourly” AND expand it to the 10-day, the slider showing what time period I’m currently viewing is out of sync with the time period I'm currently viewing. It’s annoying because it’s just a small smudge on an otherwise flawless UI. The feature requests: 1. You’ve already incorporated virtually all imaginable free weather data products, *except* the app lacks the data products that put the “dual doppler” in “dual doppler radar” (whereas RadarScope does have those products, and they must be free at least for Radars near me because I can find velocity and differential reflectivity maps online... unless that’s paid for by the annoying ads I have to watch, in which case, never mind, and idk how RadarScope is free then). 2. You have the ability to use a weather model to predict the 10-day forecast as a continuous function of position... i.e. I can drop a pin anywhere in a region covered by a given weather model and find the 10 day, hour-by-hour, forecast (already a phenomenal feature btw). Therefore, you also have the ability to specify forecasts for a point that’s moving over time (i.e. travelers!) As a traveler, I’d certainly appreciate knowing I can miss an ice storm if I leave a day early, or maybe I can find a route that’ll avoid it entirely. Etc. Just throwing ideas out there. Thanks for getting Windy to where it is already!
Great info. More detailed than other sources. Keep up the great work! Take Care and God Bless!
