Fun to play, but takes money to be top tier

The game is well designed and they keep it fairly balanced. There are a lot of mechanics to learn and keep track of. If you want to be serious make sure you pick a good guild when you reach that level and join the Discord community. The higher level I have become the more interesting the game becomes. Strategies, hero combinations, and all the little elements become more important. Took almost a year to get here, but I'd say the game definitely gets more interesting. Update: been in gold League for a while and enjoying the competitive nature of the game but also the community. Definitely one of my favorite RPGs. If you want to reach the top levels, you'll need to spend some money to really stay competitive. However, if you plan things out well and learn the Heroes well you can beat people who spend 4-10 times as much as you. I know a lot of people who are Free To Play and are able to still be competitive and have fun, just takes longer and hard to stay in the top 10-20 players on your server.
