I purchased a subscription so I could watch the 2019 DCI semifinal and finals. While watching the finals the broadcast was interrupted at least once a minute and requires a restart. This made viewing the broadcast an extremely frustrating experience. When I contacted customer support and requested a compensation they said I had watched other programs which I hadn’t. Their next response was simply recommending I cancel my subscription. This is not how you build a customer base. Take a page from Amazon and other streaming services and satisfy your customers who are paying for your service. Buyer beware.
First of all, taking away the monthly subscription service for a returning customer is gouging, plain and simple. But as a huge fan of Drum Corps International, like so many others, I took the hit, as there is simply no other option of viewing the performances, short of being there in person. Secondly, paying $150 for the annual subscription, a customer should expect great coverage for an event that the FloSports staff surely knew would be viewed by literally thousands of people. There were reports all over of the video feed cutting out on the app, during Finals Night, the biggest, most watched event of the season! Mine cut out 11 times during the Blue Devils’ finals performance alone! If these problems persist, I sincerely hope DCI goes another route. FloSports keeps disappointing its subscribers.
When it’s working, it’s okay. Not great, but okay. The problem is, it’s completely unreliable. It crashed about 20 times during Finals tonight. iPhone, iPad, it didn’t matter. It wasn’t an ISP issue (I checked), the feed itself was dropping out. Complete unacceptable for what it costs. I’m BEGGING DCI to find another platinum.
Server 500 during world championships. FloSportsCore.NetworkSerializerError as well. The app and service are so poorly written and run that you don’t even sanitize your error outputs.
Falsely advertising content and unprofessional customer service. Will not resolve issues accordingly. Never buy apps.
This company is less than a one out of five for their Customer Service. I had the service for less than 12 hours and saw that it didn’t provide all sports coverages for major-league baseball, football etc. I also tried numerous times to stream on my TV testing with an event that was currently streaming at the time. Tried to cancel the very next morning after unsuccessfully being able to obtain audio from the app to the TV. I was then told they would charge me one month subscription fee and cancel my subscription, but still pay 29.95. If you want to provide successful customer experiences - good business etiquette is to provide a full refund. Make sure that you have exactly what you need to stream to your tv and the events before ordering. Don’t waste your money like I did for a product that was not useful. Cancel anytime? Sure as long as you pay for that month up front that you won’t use. Which they don’t tell you. Terrible experience.
Using the app specifically for wrestling. The picture quality is fine. Locating events is fine, but I cannot find how to locate a wrestler? I rely on an attendee to text me the mat assignment. Or the app is useless to me. A menu option to view mat assignments is needed.
Look, I like Flomarching but I don’t like that I can’t hear anything because of the audio. I have tried everything but NOTHING. I can’t hear any dci videos but when they steam a dci show live, I can hear everything, even that awesome SCV 19 opener. I am just not happy that I am paying a yearly subscription to not hear anything.
For the amount of money you have to pay to subscribe the streaming quality should be much better especially for the drum corps shows. I have 1gb high spied internet and it still constantly freezes or has low quality display.
Love the amount of content and everything is as advertised. My only complaint is the lack of chromcast support. Having to only watch on the phone is a major lack for a video app.
