It’s Just Like Having a Tour Guide in Your Car™ WHAT TO EXPECT: America’s first National Park – Yellowstone, continues to awe visitors with amazing geothermal features; geysers, boiling mud, fumaroles and hot springs are abundant throughout the park, as well as spectacular mountains, lakes, canyons and rivers. It is also home to a diverse range of wildlife including grizzly bears, bison, wolves, elk and pronghorn. Grand Teton National Park serene beauty is a fantastic contrast to the volatility of Yellowstone. With perhaps even better wildlife spotting opportunities and fewer visitors vying for that perfect image. As we drive the Grand Loop Drive, you’ll appreciate the geology 101 recap to better understand the popular geothermal wonders like Old Faithful in the Upper Geyser Basin and Grand Prismatic Spring in the Midway Geyser Basin, while we reveal some lessor visited areas, that are equally stunning. See why it’s considered a megafauna location with the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 and uncover the story behind how a tiny Yellowstone bacterium helps solves crimes. And visit the historical remnants of the pioneering settlers on their forge West and the visit the location of one of the most popular images help to promote the Park. Along with many other stories, tips and directions that will help refine and enhance your Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park experience. WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Some of the highlights along the route include; • Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin • Grand Prismatic Spring • Mud Volcano and Sulphur Cauldron • The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone • West Thumb • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port • Grand Tetons • Jenny Lake • Elk Refuge • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port BATTERY USAGE: ++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage. This was a great app! It guided us through Yellowstone & Grand Teton NP. All the information was presented in an entertaining manner which kept us engaged and focused for our entire 5 day trip. Even my tween grandsons enjoyed it.
We used this app on our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. It was nice having the commentary around the parks with routes and sights to stop and see. Great information about the parks. The only complaint we had was that an area would be talked about, but didn’t feel there was enough warning to access the stop. Other times a sight would be talked about way in advance and we weren’t sure where the turn off was. All in all this was a well worth the money spent and we are now going to purchase the Grand Canyon Tour and the one for Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
This app was fantastic. We purchased the Yellowstone and Tetons app. GPS worked great. Perfect since there is not service in majority of the area. Very informative on all scenic spots. Also filled in the silence with educational information. I am going to get this for all my trips. We love to travel and this educates the kids, and us, along the way. It was absolutely worth 10$.
We invited Gypsy Jim on our trip to Yellowstone and Tetons. We loved it! We would have missed out on so much without it! Worth every cent spent on this app. Loved how it just turned on as we approached an area. Was able to use it as a map as well so didn’t need to mess with a map app too. That was helpful because we lost service in many areas of the park. Since this works off line we still had a map.
Best guide for us! We saw things and went places we wouldn’t have normally gone except for the recommendations of this guide. I recommend listening very closely as the commentary escorts you threw a wonderful trip through Yellowstone and the grand Tetons!
This app is a must!! 10/10. I’m a nerd when it comes to this stuff and this app made me nerd out farer than I could have ever imagined!!
This apps is wonderful! It's working very well, the quantity is perfect, enough to entertain you but not too much, we learnt a lot of things, much more than reading a guide... So much worth the price, it's incredible! I hope I'll have the opportunity to test other tours!
What can I say this app is absolutely amazing used it for Yellowstone and grand Tetons would’ve missed things if it wasn’t for this app.
Even if you go prepared with maps and every thing you think you need it, you still need this app. It’s amazing! It’s tell you what you will see ahead or where to turn or where to park+ a ton a history and real facts.
We used the Teton and Yellowstone app. In our modern last minute haste to prepare for and embark on the trip, I did not have much time to do research in advance. This app helped us get the most out of each park with little forethought. Highly recommend!
