Our university included Complete Anatomy membership in our Gross Anatomy courses. It has helped tremendously with muscle insertions and actions as well as vasculature and nervous vessels!
I've had this app for a few years now. I am an FNP in a small family practice (quite the endangered species, but that's another matter) and perhaps more limited to teaching resources. Using this app allows me to very easily and thouroughly communicate medical concepts to my patients. I could see it's major strength in the orthopedic setting, and frequently use it to show how someone broke a bone, what the ACL does, and others. The thing that really impresses people is when I click a nerve in the area where they're having pain, say the big toe, and reveal how it's actually a pinched nerve in their back. I've even used it to demonstrate how someone's MCA CVA affected them. It can be a tad buggy at times, such as with that nerve pathway tracing, but it's very rarely crashed on me. I'd like to see a more complete model of the pharyngotympanic aka eustachian tube, and more minor things like that, but the program is -always- running on my computer throughout the day. Fantastic program, and they continue to improve upon it.
i got this app years ago, everything i do now requires a subscription. i hate apps with subscriptions. there should be a one time price to unlock all features permenantly.
Please add myotomes and keyboard shortcuts.
I always use this even after finishing my DPT career as a valuable reference tool to view the human anatomy. It is very detailed in explaination of each piece of the body.
would not be able to understand anatomy without it!!!
the app just crashes, on both an i9 iMac with 128gb RAM on Monterey, and an on M1 Mac Mini with 16gb.
I love this app so much I even paid for the year so i could use it for A&P1 and A&P2. All of a sudden it isnt opening. I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling then reinstalling, sending reports to apple. Can not open the app on my mac (which is what I use in class.). Very sad I paid for it and now I cant even use it.
Love this app for medical school, and have used it religiously on my iPad and Macbook Pro. Recently, the file is no longer able to be opened on my Mac. I was prompted to delete and redownload the file from the app store, only to again receive the message "Application file is damaged. Please delete file and redownload." I have repeatedly deleted the file, cleared all trace of the application from my computer, and still, through multiple MacOS updates, I am still unable to download and use Complete Anatomy on my Mac. I have never typed a review on the app store before this one, so I hope it gets attention of the developers. Considering the subscription cost of this app, I truly hope the development team comes up with a fix soon. I have exams coming up!
I have used Complete Anatomy for several years and it has been my favorite app for referencing anatomy in school and in the clinic! I recently started my first year as a DPT student and was looking forward to using this app on an iPad Pro I had purchased for school, but I no longer have access to the content I paid for several years ago. I am prompted to enroll in the company's subscription model. Since I paid for an individual license years ago (a fairly large sum), I expected to be able to continue using this application. Please help me with this issue, I have loved this app but I cannot justify enrolling in a subscription model when I have already purchased the app.
