Had problems in areas of weak/no connection
This is a great concept. The app, however, has problems if you try opening it in an area with no cellular or WiFi. The times I’ve been out of signal range and tried opening the app it just hangs and won’t open or display any message.
Is this wonderful app going to The NY Times?
I got ONE email stating that the Times was going to own the app and that no changes were going to happen. At the same time, I got an invitation from The NY Times to join their new audio app. What’s going on? Is Audm going to disappear? That would be so sad! Ever since I joined Audm I’m better informed, I can make sense of our world, politics, and social issues too! Audm has the best readers! Those wonderful readers have spoiled me. When I listen to articles read by their authors it’s disappointing. Good writers don’t make good readers. Audm’s regular readers really help me visualize the scenes. I’ve recommended this app to friends who, like me, have vision problems and can’t read on paper. Finally, Audm has the best customer service. I’ve had problems with my account and with my speakers and they very nicely helped me figure out the problem. The NY Times audio will have a hard act to follow.
Amazing readers, great content, accessible
I love Audm so much. I listen to it constantly to help me stay up to date. With some of the best readers with gorgeous voices this app is fantastic for connecting me with great content.
False advertising
Initially when I got this app, there was a screen that said I was subscribing to a free trial and wouldn’t be charged until the end of the trial. I was charged immediately.

I absolutely love the Audm app. Listening to world news and politics is now entertaining, well written and informative. I don’t have time to sit and read all the articles I would love to spend my time on. With Audm I can listen and get other tasks done at the same time. The readers speak clearly and they hold my attention. I really appreciate and am so grateful to have Audm to help me keep updated on all the important issues in the world 🌎 ❤️✌️!

Like having subscriptions to all the best publications without the paper bulk, staying current without the cost. Listening while working without the time commitment of reading. Thank you, Audm.
Not compatible with new iOS/AirPods
Loved this app until the new iOS and AirPods came out. This app is not compatible with AirPods, constantly stopping and starting and glitching/skipping makes listening unpleasant. I asked them several times to fix the problem, they said they are aware of the problem and then told me not to use AirPods. Silly. An iOS app should be compatible with all Bluetooth, especially iOS ones.
Good content terrible app
The app often doesn’t work in airplane mode. Removing items from the queue deletes others. I get logged out frequently. All these bugs have been around for well over a year.
