Love all the info and insights this monitor gives me into my baby’s sleep patterns and progress.
This is hands down the best baby monitor and app. It brings such peace of mind to having your baby somewhere where you are not. Love it!
I feel like with the nanit I’m able to walk away for a second and not worry about how my son is doing. We also have the band for him to monitor his breathing and it’s a whole different level of monitoring that helps us sleep easy.
The Nanit is a great camera and the ability to view from multiple devices simultaneously is a winning feature. It’s also been pretty reliable; the only outages have occurred during their planned maintenance times. But often the app either does not show any motion or sound activities, or the activity alerts are so delayed as to be totally useless. My baby frequently wakes up, rolls around her crib, even sits up and there is zero activity in the events list. Sometimes the events appear—but 20 min later when the information is no longer helpful. There are some usability improvements they could make. Night mode in particular is a great feature, but extremely buggy as the app will not let you turn the camera off while in night mode. You have to exit night mode, kill the app, and restart it to turn the camera off. It’s a product with great potential. If the insights and events feature weren’t terrible, I’d be open to paying for their “insights” subscription. But after a year of getting it for free and seeing zero value add, I’d sooner light money on fire.
Love everything about this monitor. Love being able to check baby from anywhere. Love the sleep analytics. Love video quality. Love the reliability. Could use a couple UX tweaks — The main thing I would change is to move the white noise sound settings button to the primary screen as I use it a lot and turning it on and off should be easier/faster to access. Also, I would love an account that I can give to my nanny, so I can set a schedule of when she can see and that I can turn off her ability to see the camera when she’s not working.
Great camera. Love the breathing wear and the night mode. Also like the fact that it has background audio and you can turn off the camera!
It tracks everything, which is very helpful when sleep training! It even gives you cute liite video montages of our baby’s wakeups. The breathing wear has been a calming force during this pandemic. It’s overall very easy to use and has eased many of the stresses of parenting for the first time. Forever recommended!
I only wish I had this with my first ❤️
I looked at so many systems before going with the Nanit. I have zero regrets. Not only is the system easy to use, the app is great. The insights helped us track his sleeping patterns and guide us to a great sleep schedule. The camera quality is great, and the device is secure. The new thing bands give me the piece of mind I need so everyones sleeping better. I love the monthly updates and the clips. With so many options out there this is the only one that has it all.
