I get charged $4.27 every few days for this app and have reached out numerous times about cancelling.
This is a scam. I still standby my comment. After paying to download the app. It wouldn’t let me make one fax without paying more money. How is that a free trial and I can’t make one fax. And by the way, refund me my money for the app which I deleted since this is not a scam as you claim.
I have used this app for a couple years. Every time I attempted to send a fax to someone to a dedicated fax machine, they were unable to receive the fax. I would end up sending a picture to their email. Finally having enough I attempted to cancel my subscription which was a 3 month at a time subscription. Not only did they not cancel the subscription, they started pulling a weekly subscription from my account!!! Believing they were reputable and having been going through numerous medical procedures, I didn’t follow up to ensure it was being cancelled. I checked today as I was reconciling the few months of statements and THEY completely IGNORED my cancellation request and CONTINUED to charge me!!!! On top of all this, there is no customer service number to even call and get things squared away!!!
Okay, you have to buy the app. That’s fine. But then you can’t actually send a fax until you cough up another $3.99! Then, when you upload your correctly edited document from iScanner, it removes all the edits and you have to edit it all over again. THIS IS COMPLETE GARBAGE
Great business tool being able to fax from my phone thanks
When I need to fax I need to do it now. Not later. My fax would not go thru and it said I didn’t have internet connection. When I checked my settings it said I did have internet connection. I emailed the company and did NOT receive a response.
They do not disclose that after you purchased app for $3.99, you have to buy subscription before you start using it!
Had a problem with the app & 3 days later did get a response via email
This is easy to use and I love having the ability to fax out from the phone. But I can’t find how to turn off the weekly charges. There should be an option to pay as you go.
The app (unless I missed it) does not indicate that once you purchase the app that you are required to buy credits to send faxes. I do not think this is unreasonable but as a consumer, I want to be informed upfront so that I can make a decision based on the actual cost. I think this is a deceptive practice.
