I am a huge hockey fan and the article’s and podcast all on my favorite sport hockey is almost more then I can handle. My subscription to the athletic was a great choice
The app is great scores stories fantastic
Great UI/UX, great content
There is some excellent content found in The Athletic - there are also some great conversations found in the comment sections - unfortunately the app seems to actively prohibit users from commenting - or maybe it’s just users logging in with AppleID credentials. Either way - it’s a huge flaw in your system to keep prompting a user to sign in yet never really signing them in.
I’m not sweating the author remembering all the stats. I enjoy his ability to get his subject to be frank.
What a great story, it what we need to start our day. If we can get more help from people like the Curry’s, many unseen stars have a chance to be seen, in all walks of life, anyone, anything, is possible. Thank You Mr. Curry for your just being You!
over a few years, The Athletic has delivered great value worthy of the price! Being retired & on SS/Medicare this actually matters.
Since Rick Carpiniello’s departure on Nov 1 The Athletic has not replaced him. They have shown no urgency to hire a dedicated New York Rangers beat writer. They have ignored hockey and treated as a secondary sport and not as a priority for a major market such as New York. Repeated inquiries to James Myrtle and The Athletic staff have gone unanswered. I have canceled my subscription which will now expire in February 2022. I will reconsider a subscription once again if the athletic ever determines that New York Rangers coverage is worthy of their attention.
The Athletic is spectacular. All White Sox fans need to be on here for James Fegan’s excellent content. It’s even better now than it was during the rebuild, which I thought was impossible.
Absolutely love the Athletic. Excellent writers and insight. Give them an opportunity. Glad I did. Prices are a bargain.
