It’s wonderful to learn coding

It’s very simple

Great but one problem

Mimo is great, but there is one bug I do not like. Whenever I try to put an image in my code it does not show. No images do. While on HTML editor this almost never happens.I hope they fix this soon.

Discount or premium for students?

I really love this app and in the bit that I am able to do, I have learned so much. It is simple and easy to use, yet it is still efficient! Though I would really like to have the premium version. Some students, myself included, may have a budget and we can’t always afford premium subscriptions. It would be great to have premium if you’re using a school account, since it is for educational purposes. I

Love it!!

I love this app, it has been amazing teaching me to code. It’s been really easy, and definitely not difficult, since the lesson are easily broken down. Though the reason I’m giving the app a 4Star review is because, the app, on iPad does not support split-screen. I take notes on what I learned, because I have a bad memory, and I constantly have to jump back and forth, which is very annoying. Overall the app is amazing. Wish it supported split-screen though.

Remove or lower the live system

This coding app is great and has helped my coding skills but the live system is useless and annoying so 1 make timer lower (maybe from its original value to 1 hour and 45 minutes) and 2 is to get rid of it entirely for good (lowering the cost for the subscription in the process) the lives system has lowered the amount of lessons I’ve done to just a pathetic 6 (I’m talking about the smaller ones and not the bigger and more “as a hole” ones) and since I’m just a kid I can’t pay for the subscription so just get rid of it for good. SUMMARY: Lower the live system timer or get rid of it entirely.
By this is kind of rng based ):

Had potential but ERRORS EVERYWHERE

Hundreds of syntax errors and incorrect outputs being displayed around every turn. Obviously NO ONE cared to run or even proofread the code. I don’t submit all the errors I find because I have submitted SO many and I don’t think they care. The first reason I don’t think they care is because given the popularity of this app I highly doubt I’m the first one submitting these errors and they haven’t been fixed. The second reason I don’t think they care is because this code should have been tested to be correct before presenting it as education material. The reasons above lead me to believe this was a hastily written money grab app. Aside from the errors, there is NO reason this is a subscription based app. $80 only buys you a year. That should buy the whole app permanently. $80 already sounds astronomically expensive for what it truly is. A short, error riddled app with a glossary that has only a small fraction of what is covered. Hope you memorize everything(it might be wrong though)! The Python course can be finished in the month of the free trail if you can get past the errors.

You pay them to be a beta tester.

It’s loaded with typos, most affect if your answer is correct or not. I had 13 out of 15 questions wrong and could find no mistakes on my part. My answers matched theirs, but mine were still considered incorrect. And there is no way to get questions answered. So learned NOTHING. They frequently have contradictory answers from one exercise to the next. I have completed the python part and 50% of web design, still can’t make a page that lets a user input information. It really is a total scam. Thanks Apple for helping them rip off people.

Too much handholding

I like the basic layout and concept of the app. The design is also very nice. However, you are told exactly what to do each step of the way, or given choices that are far too obvious. Challenges are crucial for learning, and the app creates virtually no challenges for you. Rather than say "Achieve result X by putting THIS before THAT", it would be more challenging and more educational to have an instruction in the form "Achieve result X by using what you've learned in this unit" This might be wrong, because I don't know the rules of Pyhon, but I intuit that the app just punished me for doing something logical: I was supposed to write a "while loop" in the form "while variable == True", which I'm pretty sure is equivalent to "while variable", which is what I did. However, I didn't get feedback in the form "that also works, but do it this way instead for now", but rather a mere "that's wrong". Even the early platforms like codecademy have had this good fuzzyness since the beginning.
