I was completely addicted to this game up until the killing of the bear. I have to make steaks etc, no I won’t do that. Cant seem to find any games where you are building communities without the harming of animals? It’s baffling to me actually. I’m a pacifist and don’t eat meat irl so, don’t really want to even see that viewed in a “game.” Those are the kinds of things kids do and then think this is the norm. To kill and hurt animals without emotion. Engaging in it views as some sort of game is cruel too. Especially in such a “cute” sort of environment. It’s just wrong. I can’t support that. Was loving the gardening and gold mining and all the tasks. I’ve now deleted the app and won’t be playing ever again. Extremely bummed out. Thumbs down. A developer really needs to come out with a game like this that doesn’t involve killing animals. It’s not necessary irl or in video game culture. Period. Over time this is what instills things in kids brains as a norm or fun or cool. Hurting animals is not any of those things!!
Love this game so much wish you would make one without the magic
Game is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. They say it is intended to be free. The most points you can get is 70, however it may cost 90 points to knock something over. The game is painfully slow unless you buy. The game is worse than a slot machine at eating points. Be aware.
Please either raise the energy level from 50 to 150. Or at least let the sweet shop be available to us 24/7. Everything in this game requires a high level of energy to going through the 50 energy is done within two tasks.
I’m on level 30 and all of a sudden I have no more tasks or quests.
Klondike has great graphics and the storyline is comical and interesting. Like most games such as this, there are competitions in which you race to complete goals. The competitions as like all these games aren’t really voluntary, but necessary to continue in the game. This is where you choose to pay to play or you can slowly rebuild your energy points to continue. There are many packages to choose from to increase your energy points or emeralds (needed to play). I made it to level 34 before writing my review to be fair. But, sadly those prices don’t allow for everyday enjoyment or the ability to enjoy the fantasy for more than a few minutes at a time. Then you either wait for rebuilding of points or you buy emeralds to continue. Games are meant to enjoy as an escape mentality from life’s challenges not yet another example of the haves and the has not. If you can pay, you can play.
Been playing the game for a couple years. Quite fun. For the folks complaining about not having enough energy to play the game, there are several ways to gain energy without spending money. I’ve never had a problem. You can merely be patient, or collect from animals and plants to use on your cauldron and furnace. Hunting and fishing and finding treasure along the way helps to get you energy too. While you wait for the energy to refill, there are loads of things to do on your own farm and buildings. I give this game five chickens. Erm..I mean stars.
I was working the mazes and was cheated during goals. Even sent messages to the Facebook page and they simply keep telling me to “find more.” I shouldn’t have to find 6 poles (yes, the task was already assigned and I had been working it), to get credit for finding 5. Happened in the second goal as well when it took me exploring 4 mazes to get credit for exploring 3. Nobody even looked into the issue and they don’t seem to care. Won’t be doing any more mazes in this game since they can’t play fairly.
The developers need to listen as well as they respond! Comment after comment state that people hate the energy rate!!! You would actually make more money on this game if you made the money/energy more fair. This could be a world class game. If you look at any successful game that makes money upon money, it understands its values/ money rate of its game play. Who ever you are,get your head out of your butt and fix this. I hate to see such a good game be ruined by the greed of the developers!!!! Guys don’t look for anything to change. I’ve seen it time and time again, they don’t truly listen. Whom ever is controlling the shots on this needs to realize players will spend way more money on the game when they feel more value, which causes a whole new feel for a game. This be patient crap just ticks players off. Would like to see the developer make tons of money. Then make a sequel 2! Change your game values and this will happen!!
I am new to gaming on devices and I’m really impressed with how much they charge in general! With that said, I am disappointed that I spent $45 and I’m still only doing about 1/10th of what I would like to be able to do. This game is LOADED with adventure, and if you don’t have a spending limit you’ll be happy to have endless journeys. Otherwise, you get about 10 minutes of play before you’re out of energy on most check-ins. I’m bummed I’m invested in this because they offer SO MUCH to do but not a lot of opportunities for earning the emeralds or energy that’s used to play the game.
