They have good filters
I like the app but saving at SD is too limiting and there is no middle ground between free and $30 year. There is no reason why an out like this should be subscription-based but I get it, everybody in the industry is going for the cash grab for Subscriptions. I would love to see this ad for five or $10 and be able to share it with my wife.
As with every app these days they ruined it by making everything useful cost extra.
This app was so good I ravaged myself
I was an early user of Prisma and I loved it. Since I got my iphone 10, I signed up as an annual user, but now I can’t use Prisma at all. I’ve made sure everything is connected properly but none of the screen prompts work. I cannot even get access to my photo library or shoot photos. Not only have I lost one of my favorite apps, I just threw $29.99 away. And worse yet, there’s no product support you can easily access. The only time I see any support show up is when someone posts a bad review. Hope this gets their attention because I feel robbed.
Prisma used to be free to use, free to enjoy. It has turned into a subscription service that try’s to milk 10 dollars a month out of you. How they entice their users is the classic bait and switch; and the complete stripping of features. Users have to pay to: See and download HD rendered artwork. (Only low resolution for free users) Acquire other art “packs” Be harassed to upgrade after clicking almost any in-app button. I would stay clear of prisma.
Used to be a good free app but I’m not paying for filters that only look decent half of the time.
This is great!!
Love the functionality, but 3 stars only for the manipulative onboarding. They hit you with a fake paywall to try to get you to pay for the premium version up front. I get that this app needs to make money and has to be able to pay its developers to maintain it, but the dark pattern fake paywall upfront immediately loses my trust and respect.
