If you want almost anything they show you have to pay
In this update, I like the possibility to switch cloud cover on or off. On the other hand, I miss the weather forecast for the day in the widget.
This is a great app but I really wished there was a badge so I can see the current index in my location without opening up the app.
This gets better all the time. The watch app is extremely handy, especially the small complication. Living in Florida with ultra light skin, it’s nice to know at a glance what the Uv is at any part of the day before I go outside. The layout on the phone and watch is plenty informative without getting insane and cluttered. Developer has managed to avoid falling into the “clutter it up trap” most fall into when updating and modifying an app. It’s always crisp and clean with all the data you need without excess or getting complicated. And it looks nice too.
A great app; very useful in knowing how much UV radiation is outside. Great to know if you wish to be safe from skin cancer. It’s a most have app!
I used the paid version of the app and it shows the UV index at 5 while the weather app on my iPhone and Accuweather both show 10 and 11 respectively. I just went for a walk and even though it’s 73, I felt my skin scorching, so I’m more inclined to believe the other two apps. This app has one job and it failed. I don’t generally write 1 star reviews but this being potentially used as a health app, I believe inaccurate information presents a public hazard.
Doesn’t support several complication types on the watch so ability to be used with watch faces is very limited. A real shame as it’s a very nice app otherwise.
I’m not sure that this is totally accurate, it tends to differ wildly from reputable weather sources.
Version 5.1.2 is crashing on launch on my iPhone SE running IOS 12.3.
Not sure why but I can’t purchase a subscription. Everything else is great though.
