I struggle with keeping receipts and hate to add everything up at the end of the year. I absolutely love being able to take a picture, categorize it, and throw out.

Does a good job at gathering data and organizing. Fuel tracking would be nice to have a mileage area for each receipt dealing with auto. Great app so far. Impressed!
This is a good app IF ONLY ... 1. IF , You could Crop your Receipt to make it look more professional ( I found that to look at a receipt I have to zoom in and that’s such a pain if your scanning multiple items or have to fix the amount manually ) 2. IF , There was a option to save the Supplier/Vendor ( some of the items aren’t automatically added so you have to manually type in information which is a pain and the tag feature has categories so I’m not sure why you can’t create a supplier or vendor and save it to use for other items ) 3. IF, you could save your locations would be very useful while scanning multiple items it would save time. I scanned 8 items and had to manually type in locations on each. 4. IF , you could add your own Categories Instead of having to choose from the their list which only has business categories very limited personal categories. Overall this app could definitely be one of my favorite and something I would use on a daily basis . If updated in the future I would pay for a monthly subscription or even a flat annual fee . However as it is right now It seems to much trouble to manually type in all this information. Especially if you have multiple items to scan. The idea of this app is similar to “Neat “ or neat machine or rather has the some of the same features. I feel the fee items listed above would be very helpful and make this app one of the best . (Just to note , I used my iPad to test go this app. So I'm not sure if more options are available on a desktop, laptop or phone? ) There are features I wouldn’t change and that I found very useful, one of them is that you can view your business expense total for the whole year which would be a life saver when it’s time for filing for your business related deductions .( Again more personal categories would be extremely useful & option to save !! ) I like the fact that can export to PFD & CSV , with the tag option you can look up items based on your tag. This is the one area you can create your own categories. Which I found useful . Overall this has some nice features and the idea of this be very useful and something I would definitely use on a daily basis not only for Business purposes but for personal expenses also. However I don’t understand why it gives you the option to pick what is business related,( like the amount or % ) yet doesn’t give you the option for personal Categories or to pick the option personal vs business related ??? I normally don't write app reviews unless it's something I use frequently. I feel that this app has so much potential and can be used for so much more than just to keep track of a few business related expenses. I would use this app to keep track of my overall expenses not only business related expenses for the purpose of filing taxes but I could see this app being used for ALL Expenses in general. You could keep track of health care expenses, day care expenses ,multiple business expenses ect personally I would use it as a budget tracker , mileage tracker, personal expense tracker and so on ..... I hope that this app will be updated soon and add these very simple useful features .
I like this app. Just be aware that as of this writing there is no way to obtain individual images of all your receipts. They do have a way to export a PDF of your all receipts but they combine them all into one PDF. This is no good if say you no longer wish to use 1tap and transfer your receipts to another service. You'd have to scan them all again.
