Very useful and works well.
Very cool app allows new people like me to find awesome roads to ride. And if I know of any share those for others.
Unlike some of the others you can put plenty of waypoints, allows you to take a more scenic route if you want and be able to save your routes and make public or private. Good job
The only issues seem to be with the navigation framework, not getting a direction for the next turn until you're on top of it is a problem. It also tends to lag behind actual position sometimes and the map choices are limited. Still my go to app for motorcycle navigation tho.
Great app. I’m glad I got it. Definitely a bonus to riding. The only issues I ever have, is remember to use it. No reason to not get this app.
Scenic is different, in good ways. The user I face is a new approach (for me at least), and made this the best and most intuitive nav app I have used.
A very comprehensive nav tool that requires some tutorial work and use to fully appreciate all the features. I’m still learning. Guido fixes problems he finds and improves the app continuously. Thank you
Quick response from Guido to questions. The best Moto navigation app that I’ve found.
I love this app! First, let me say that I’ve tried numerous GPS, tracking, and route creating apps over the years, even expensive paid ones, and nothing comes close to Scenic. I run a 125+ member motorcycle group. I create and lead all kinds of rides. Local 100 to 200 mile lunch runs, weekend trips, and even 10 day touring rides. Nothing is as robust,, intuitive, and reliable as Scenic. There are so many features that make it easier to accomplish these tasks. Creating routes is simple. You can put in a start and end, pick the options you want, (highways, efficient, curvy, etc...) and go. I get compliments all the time on the great routes created by Scenic. You can customize routes easily. If you have a specific route you want to take, you can set as many waypoints as you like to follow a specific route. I often use this feature if I want to do some loops and backtracks to hit specific roads on our way to somewhere. You can import routes easily. I often map my multi day trips using Furkot. I can set my route, add gas or meal stops, lodging, and specific detours for things like monuments, museums, scenic overlooks, etc... on the computer, and then from within Scenic import each day’s route. A quick overlook of the route to make sure that a waypoint is not misplaced and then I can confidently head off with a bunch of friends know we’re not going to be doing a bunch of u-turns or pulling out maps or phones along the way. Have you ever used a GPS unit or program, missed a Waypoint, and then fought with that unit for the next hour while it tried over and over to take you back to that point? If you miss a point,Scenic is smart enough to forget that point. It’ll try to take you back a few times, then automatically skip forward to the next point. It even had an easy to use Detour option. If you discover that the planned route has a closed road, hit detour and Scenic will get your around it. The buttons and features are LARGE and easy to access with gloves on. Another feature that is often not considered when these apps are created. It’s one of the many things that makes it obvious that this was created by a motorcyclist. Finally it’s easy to send my routes to others. I can text or email to other members so everyone has the route. I’ve barely touched on the awesomeness of this app. Try it out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Of all the apps and gps I’ve tried this is my favorite.
