If you read other reviews/ratings, it all turns to the same problem: the teacher being able to see what app your on. - Lets say there’s a student attending a class, then while the teacher is talking (lets call her Mrs. Frizzle), Ben is playing a Calmness app, Mrs. Frizzle sees Ben and questions “Ben, why are you playing games during class? Hmm.” { background story; Ben has anxiety and is afraid to talk ~ and it’s his least favorite class, Guidance } Ben will have more fear, now he has to talk. I’ll let you complete the story. Things to do to help any issues of app - Contact your/ your childs local principal or teacher - talk about this issue to other parents - check any setting(s) hope this helped!
OMG I used this app to control my brother and sister’s iPads it was so funny looking at their confused faces when I used the “open” feature and the lock feature it was like gold on the other side of the rainbow I love it and the best part is it’s absolutely FREE I am so impressed with this app and will continue using it. This is and automatic 10/10 in my book. Love ya apple 😘😘❤️❤️
I hate this app
Coming from a student with adhd, I usually am playing chess to stay focused on class. I have noticed a significant grade decrease since we have started using this spyware Update a year later: it just gets worse. In another class, a teacher will practically give us detention for having anything that isn’t the notes open. I understand the point of view of the teacher but they shouldn’t punish students for not being productive during class. In the end, it’s just the student's grade that is affected.
My teacher uses apple classroom and he keeps watching what we are doing on our screen! It’s sooo creepy! Please take this off the App Store. Now.
Joey no likey be watch you
This worked great in our classrooms! Then, you “updated” it and now about 60% of the students show up fine while 40% appear offline. Sometimes, with constant rebooting, I can get up to 75% of the class. FIX. IT. Please.
I’m a fifth grade student in middle school, all of my classes use this app and it invades students privacy. Here’s what happened: I’m a average 5th grader in class, the teacher leaves the room and left the iPad unlocked. As most curios people do I go check what’s on the iPad screen. THIS APP! I go home that day a download the app, ITS PRACTICALLY SPY WARE! They can control safari and all the apps, and if my personal account is logged they can access all photos, texts, social media accounts, and maybe even passwords. PLEASE DONT GET THIS APP OR LOG A PERSONAL ACCOUNT INTO A SCHOOL DEVICE. Thank you 🙏🏻
As a middle school teacher, I think this app was an invasion of privacy. It has way to many problems to be dealt with! Going along with the invasion of privacy, it was extremely glitchy and buggy. I do not recommend.
This stalks students personal life.
