I’ve had problems with the app, in the past. However, it’s been fine for at least the past four months. When I’ve had a problem, reinstalling the app and or signing out, rebooting, and signing in have solved it. Although the people you deal with are employees of a phone center, they have tried their best to help me. I have, on occasion reached a tech support individual, who has solved my problem. The magazine is excellent. Mr. Roustan has been a Great addition. He rightly seems to take pride in the publication and seems to be steadily on the alert to possible upgrades. As he states, while many magazines, for economic reasons, are cutting back, THN is giving us more!!!
The Hockey News Ap is easy and efficient to use.
For years I was a avid reader. For the most part enjoyed and learned. However, this app is a joke.
Been trying for two weeks to read anything. Only options are to spend even more money to buy upgrades. Bunch of c**p.
Glad I didn’t cancel my print subscription because this app rarely works, but when it does it’s pretty good. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it several times but still can’t see current issues, keeps asking me to subscribe or buy the single issue, all I can see are past issues from months and months ago.
I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ve been purchasing online issues for five years. Every time you touch the app, everything is gone again. I started over again with the burning questions issue, purchased while using the same subscription login on an android tablet. Sign in on my iPhone... no purchases.
Once again they “upgraded” the app. Now I can’t get any of the new issues. Good upgrade. The incompetence of these guys is beyond belief. Yet trying to contact them results in NEVER getting to talk to a human being and never gets the problem resolved. A quality publication with incompetent support. Do not get a digital subscription ! They are unable to fulfill it but will gladly keep your money.
I have no access to my older issues anymore!
Being a subscriber of the magazine for many years and enjoying it, I decided to subscribe for the app. I paid my 2$ in hopes of reading older subscriptions and the app doesn’t work. It keeps telling me it will take a few minutes to restore my subscription. I gave it a week and I still can’t access any older issues. It’s really sad that they still can’t get it right. It’s a joke!!
Paid for my subscription through the app, went to read issues and it asked me to sign in. With what? I never gave it a password or user name and it never asked me for one when I paid. Tragically ridiculous.
