This is by far the worst app on IOS backed up by Yahoo “customer support”. Almost impossible to make improvements when you make it impossible for anyone to contact you.
Only use it out if necessity, but is sometimes unusable. Glitches often, currently can’t access forums because “log in or subscribe” only has a subscribe option and not a log in option. Just the latest issue in a long list. A platform this large should really have a better app
This app was clunky to begin with and now every time I try to read an article it says Oops We Fumbled try again later. Does the same thing for all the content. It used to tell me I wasn’t logged in and I needed to sign up and then never gave me an option to login again. Crap programming. I would surmise it isn’t well tested either. iPhone 11 running latest software. Update: Just went to send you screenshots and the email address provided bounced back. Rivalsappfeedback@yahoo doesn’t work per Google.
Only functional part of the app is the message board. None of the content items from the main page are visible. If you try to access them from links on the message board it just says “oops we fumbled”.
This app is not user friendly. Very hard to find content and where is the list to see about players? The layout need fixing. I use to really like rivals but dont ever use them anymore because of how bad the app is...
The team site, HuskerOnline, news feed is messed up. At the top of the app, one cannot access or select “Headlines” or “News.” Only “Rivals National”, “HOL Video”, and “Big Red Business” work. Everything is up to date, the app and phone iOS 14.3 installed. **Update** After deleting the app and reinstalling it, it is now functional again.
So many issues with the app now from quality to stability. What happened??
This app is a poor user experience and bug issues are getting worse after each release. I try to access an article and it loads a previously viewed article. I have to back out and reselect the article for it to load correctly. I am logged into the app but when I try to access the Nebraska Tunnel Talk segment it won’t recognize my subscription and locks up. Very frustrating. I will not continue my membership if it does not improve.
This site has gotten to be very poor since Yahoo Sports has taken to running Rivals. On my iPad, I have to delete and reload almost every time I want to use Gold andBlack on my iPad. When I contacted Yahoo for help, they came up with some wild story about my cookies need to be cleared and to use a different browser. The only problem was that I was using the APP and not the browser. Absolutely no help,,
I’ve had a subscription for many years and the app is a constant frustration. Lots of bugs and crashes, and not much updating or attention paid to usability.
