This app is amazing ! I was the type to be insecure going into the gym because I wasn’t sure if I would be doing the exercises properly and now I go in follow exactly the video and know I’m getting a good workout for the time I’m there. Best app ever ! 5 stars for me !
Just got back In the gym, this app is awesome. I don’t ask anyone anything anymore. I just get to it.
Frustrating with bugs. Tell developers to make sure it’s working
As someone who teaches fitness classes and has been lifting in the weight room for many years, I wanted something that gave me a PLAN that I didn’t have to put together myself each time I workout. I love many of the programs this app has. I also love that it times you in between sets. I’m rested enough in between sets to maximize the next set and stay consistent and focused.
Great app at first, but then it started to glitch on me and won’t let me put the right weight in. If I did something for 25lb it automatically will go to 17.5 and not let me change it!!! Super frustrating
Update 11/15/19 - Issues have been fixed, back to 100% loving this app!! I loved this app until the recent update. Timer is now silent and weight logging does not work. It doesn’t help me much when it continues to log the default weight no matter how many times I change the weight. And now the demo videos don’t play. I still like the workouts, but not being able to use app to the fullest is frustrating. Please fix issues!!!
I love Fitplan! I have used other fitness Apps, but I like this one because of the day by day progress. Seeing myself make progress towards a goal each time I hit the gym makes me feel great about working out. If I hit a schedule snag or and off week I don’t loose my progress.
I’ve been using it for about two months now. I am doing one of Lin’s programs that is glutes focused. I like the ease of not having to organize my workout, and that’s why I wanted to try this app. I workout about 4-5 times a week. There are some glitches/errors/bugs that’s the app has and when I had a doubt about of the exercises I reached out to my trainer (Linn) through a chat option available on the app, however I never got a reply from her. Not a big deal, but why would you make this an option if no one is going to get back to you ? Today’s glitch happened when I attempted to register the weight I used and the reps I did, the app somehow would change it to another number. It’s not the first time it has happened. I have noticed that when I have looked at the complete list of workouts of the day, walk/jog/run time is different than when I go to the walk exercise. For example, it might say I have to jog and then walk for 5 minutes each. But when I go to the specific exercise to check it off it says 10 minutes each. If you make a note for one of the exercises, it won’t be for that single exercises but for all the exercises. You can’t use the return button on keyboard to make a new line on notes. I use this feature because sometimes I want to note that I increased/dropped the weight during a set. Or maybe note that I did an alternative exercise. I can’t remember all glitches the app has but I thought it would be better. It does the trick for me though, gives me a pretty good idea of how to structure my workout and sometimes I add exercises of my own.
Linn Lowes and Katie Crewe’s plans are the best and so inspiring!
This app has been a complete mess since iOS13. They fix one thing and ruin 5 other while at it. For a 15$ monthly membership, the developer better deliver a decent product. Timers don’t work, weight logging doesn’t work. You might as well download a work out plan online and save yourself 15$ monthly
