HEART MONTH Featured app in the official Apple Heart Month 2022: https://www.apple.com/au/newsroom/2022/01/apple-celebrates-heart-month-with-new-resources-across-services REQUIREMENTS This app requires an iPhone that has the Health App installed. Heart readings are read from the Health Data Store which is ideally populated by your Apple Watch.
Needs improved functionality. If you're startled &/or awakened unexpectedly the app doesn't know what to do with that data. 💢Between the 3 associated apps they don't play well together. If you live in a noisy city—the ability to get an waking pulse may be compromised. The app does a poor job of recognizing a HR greater than 100 due to walking very fast &/or exercising. Likes to hit you with a high heart rate alarm. Seems to default default to resting not walking. And if I'm reading a 📕book the app thinks I'm🛌asleep! Now that ability [to read while sleeping] would be awesome! 💢Wish I knew a better app that I wouldn't need to spend even more $$!
I’m still learning how to use the app but so far I’m pleased
The best!!
I have been using HeartWatch for almost 5 years and it is worth every penny. Great app, great displays and clusters that keep you informed.
I’ve been using HeartWatch for several years now and think it’s great. I haven’t seen another app that comes close to integrating my heart rate, workout routes and day to day health like this one. (The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because I still can’t figure out how to use the ‘warm down’ function).
These guys know their stuff. Highly useful and comprehensive user interface takes out the heavy lifting and makes it fun to review the metrics. Apple buy out watch 😬
The team obviously put a lot of thought into what they believed would be useful to everyday users and it shows. What I particularly like is they did not fall into the subscription trap, I absolutely refuse to support those leaches. If you have a good app, people don’t mind spending a few bucks on it. I bought the heart and sleep apps, very satisfied with both. Keep up the good work!
I was having issues with dizziness and feeling to tired to move. I have always been an active person. I noticed a low heart rate when checking my blood pressure one day. I figured it had to be wrong. I purchased this App to begin tracking my bpm. Turns out I was in serious trouble. After monitoring for a week I found myself in the ER, and 2 days later I received a pacemaker. While I was in the hospital I compared my Series 5 Apple Watch with the HeartWatch App against the machine they had me hooked to. It was spot on. It is an everyday part of my life now. I never write reviews, but this one was worth it! It literally helped save my life! The doctors even used it for reference!! Don’t hesitate getting this one!!!
This is a great app! I love the feature where I can clock a button on my I watch to check my pulse. I love the timeline where the app tracks my heartbeat per hour and sends me a message to let me know if my heart rate is too high or too low. An investment well worth it for this app!
It helped me a lot bec once it told me that I was going through afib I went to ER and the Dr said true that I was going into afib so basically saved me
