Complications don’t work, needs design tweaks

A pretty good weather app with lots of data and very customizable. Customization is problematic in that it’s easy to make the display really ugly. Could use some smarter design to keep things attractive. It looks pretty clunky. Also, the Watch complications are totally unreliable. They usually don’t update and every digit just shows “0”. Update: Developer told me to make sure I have a subscription. Of course I do. I gave a Gold Subscription but complications still won’t update. Any number of start/restarts, uninstall/reinstalls, but nothing will get complications to show anything but “0”.

In love

This is by far and away the best weather program I have ever used. No weather app is perfect everyone but this one is definitely the most accurate I have used plus the interface is so easy to navigate , I am in love

Best weather app

I’ve worked for two weather companies and tried many different apps. Forecast Bar has the best UI, accuracy, and general easiness to use.

Good app but bad widget

I love the app but the widget refused to load properly at first. The widget loads with no graphics. It will launch and open properly. I’ve tried multiple times to edit the widgets, deleting the old and installing the new and it still won’t load properly. After several more attempts to load the new widget, it now won’t load at all. I have cycled power on my iPad to see if it would reload, to no avail. If widgets are important for you then, you’ll have to use another weather app. This current version widget simply doesn’t work.

Paid for a for a year regular sub for widgets... now pay more?!

Paid for a year subscription on IOS 13, specific ally for the widget. iOS 14, ‘upgrade your subscription to use widgets’ IM SORRY POLITELY GO BAIT AND SWITCH SOMEONE ELSE. ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE.

Weather-matched not matching

Forecast Bar strives to be an “elegant” app for weather, and frequently updates. This is a good thing. So, now that widgets are a “thing” on the iPhone, it’s time to make them “elegant” too. One of the less elegant things is that the “weather matched” backgrounds on different data points aren’t in sync when expressed as a stack. Likely this is caused by mis-aligned weather update calls...the 10-minute updates updating every 10-minutes as expected while the hourly and weekly updating hourly and weekly? Perhaps the weather-matching should be in sync no matter what data point is displayed so that when flipped in a stack they elegantly match up? Also, PLEASE have weather alerts present something better than just the NOAA/NWS web page. It is the single most frustrating thing to have to finger-pinch-zoom in and swipe back and forth to read. Other weather apps show a pop-out with large readable text. Just a couple suggestions from a fan. Keep up the good work!

❤️ the widget!

I see my reviews always disappear. Here we go again: Excellent all-purpose weather app. OK, now my widgets are working again! 5 stars. They are so handy on both my iPad and my iPhone, making it a breeze (pardon the pun) to check the weather for the day. I can customize the info I want to see at a glance. Please just keep working...🤞

Great Weather app for customization

There are so many weather apps out there, but this one is not only sleek and accurate, but super customizable, and tons of available data points and features for those that want a little more than just the forecast. One of the few apps I find the subscription cost more than worth it for what you get.

Wasted my time, don’t waste yours.

This app was fine, expensive but fine. Then is stripped functionality and put up bigger paywalls. Those features are far from the best in the category and simply are not worth the asking price. Done and deleted. Don’t bother downloading.

Still the best, still only average

Still far too buggy, slow and way too expensive. Now missing temperature badge. Sigh. Why are all weather apps so bad?
