It’s not free at all. You can’t see a single recipe unless you pay a subscription. You can sign up for the free trial, but if you forget to cancel they will automatically bill your iTunes. Also, if you read through some of the five stars you can tell some of them work for the company. Like Joebobble.
Upon trying to scroll through the featured items after downloading, it kept pausing to load, skipping back up to earlier recipes, and was unresponsive at times. When I finally found a recipe I liked the preparation instructions were locked behind a paywall along with nutrition and serving size information. There are far better vegan recipes apps out there, many without a paywall.
So disappointed. Can’t open collections, crashes constantly and is in general really hard to navigate! I was very excited about this app, but now I’m trying to figure out how to cancel my subscription. I’ve sent several emails concerning various issues but have never received a response.
Wow, who knew that the search function can’t spell? Type in sugar free carrot cake, no results found, go to collections, there it is. Try to open collections after saving it, no go. Seems this should be very basic. What does squash, bean and kale have to do with carrot cake? Yummy? I love squash, beans and kale, just not in my carrot cake. Let’s get it together...
Why pay $20/year for an app that has no print option? I love the recipes, but I would never pay for any app if I can't print out the recipes. Total waste of time and money. I'll stick with the freebie. I have contacted the company many times, and they never get back to me. Most of their recipes are from writers who have the recipes on their own blog. I will just keep going to them and save myself the $20.
Shows recipe ingredients only... the rest must be purchased. I don’t like being mislead
The dishes call your name as each picture is displayed in a way that wets the lips. The recipes are easy to follow with easy to find ingredients. I highly recommend downloading and using this app. Always With A Folk in Her Hand🍴
if you prefer to print recipes, don’t bother. the greed has trumped user.
I love the easy of use and the recipes. I also like the collections idea. I sign up for a year subscription and went straight to the collections and to my great disappointment it just doesn’t work. It tells me there is a certain number of recipients but doesn’t allow me to access any. Also the search is not very accurate. That is why I like the collections. If the collections work I would rate it 4 stars. I cannot rate it 5 stars because even with my great high speed internet connection the app keeps crashing if I scroll too fast and closes on me. PLEASE! Fix the collections. Thank you.
Wish it had a shopping list for each recipe. Other apps do and it’s brilliant. Also find it very difficult to navigate. Seems like I should be able to tap on bookmark or the heart to have it pull up recipes I’ve indicated on previous searches. Will cancel my subscription
