Use the June of an every day since my January 2020 to purchase and today for the first time looking for recipes the iPhone app is asking me to subscribe to a premium package. The original purchase of a premium oven and accessories was supposed to allow one full year of premium service. Explain how to reboot through this difficulty. Overall I love the machine, small hiccups can easily be fixed.
Like the oven, hate the app. Need to add the ability to clear history IMMEDIATELY. Just deleted and reinstalled. Now to hook it back up. What poor design!
There is a camera in the oven. When the. cooking is over, one is offered the chance to take a picture of the result. However when one tries, one sees the iPad camera, not the oven camera. Please fix.
Please. If you are going to use low contrast font in an app with no way to increase text size, at least add dark mode capability.
My gen 1 dial no longer scrolls to set temp after they updated their software. App rarely works to save changes to my custom programs. Been going on for months now. What do you guys sit around doing all day??
If you ever stood in your kitchen and wished your appliances had features hid behind a pay wall... then this is the oven for you.
I’m not the type to take photos of my food, and if I was, I’d never do it from the ovens camera. Why is this a feature I can’t disable. It’s easily the most annoying thing in the app.
Hands-down the June oven is obviously the most aesthetic oven on the market. With such good looks you would expect High end performance. Womp womp. I think the biggest disappointment is the lack of barcode scanning. The fact that the oven ca visually recognize food and set temperatures for the recognized food item is amazing. I’m convinced it’s magic but the big unexpected let down is that the APP can’t scan barcodes and then send that information over to the oven to cook a meal. Big WOMP WOMP WOMP👎🏼. I mean really, if your oven can recognize food why can’t this app scan barcodes for frozen meals and other food items and send that information to the oven for cooking🤷🏻♂️
The app is useful for operating the oven, but I feel like the camera is being butchered by low bit-rate transmission, I can barely tell what’s in my oven because it’s so pixelated. There’s also no way to view our account or log-in or log out. My question is, why not? Why can’t we do the very simplest function an app can serve? It’s infuriating.
We have had 4 of these ovens. Yes 4. It’s been replaced 4 times for mechanical issues. Gen 2 lost a heating element, replacement lost WiFi. Gen 3 had a broken touchscreen. My Gen 3 replacement is failing as well. The software over time has lost features more than it’s gained. The company has stopped updating app, oven firmware and blog. Research shows they where recently purchased by Weber and likely will be folded in somehow. I won’t be asking for a 5th replacement. When it dies it’s going on the garbage and on to another manufacturer. Such promise.
