This app is a scam everybody on here always say there outta town and will be back in a week
Too many scammer on here telling go to this site and that site, Roomster need to fix this issues
The only thing you can do without paying is post a listing. You can’t contact anyone or do literally anything without paying $9.99 a week!! That’s insane. I can do this for free on a million different sites.
Signed up and messaged a half dozen people on Roomster. No response. Crickets. Cancelled after one week and paid $9.99. Wasn’t worth a plug nickel
The app works well. The issue I have is the subscription. $9.99 is charged every 7 days. That’s a bit steep in my opinion. Not everyone can find the ideal living situation within a week and it could end up costing a person $40 a month. $9.99 a month would make more sense. And with so many other “free” ways to find a roommate the app just isn’t worth it for me.
Total junk should just burn the $10. It’s not real just a scam search online and read about it. Don’t know how Apple should be ashamed for not shutting them down
Majority of the ads/rooms are spam! No one ever responds back to you. Plus, you can’t do anything without paying $8.00 a WEEK! Ugh!
I’ve sent numerous messages over and over with no response. The ones who would message me were just data fishing trying to get my email and phone numbers. I can’t believe to this day and age that there’s no good app to find roommates. Customer support is horrible and will just try to up sell you. Do not buy into this app, I’ve given it multiple chances and it never works. Wasted nothing but money and time on this app. It’s a scam, don’t do it.
I just downloaded the app and setup a new account. Every time I select my city the app close completely and sends me back to my home screen.
Great idea, poor execution. This app tries to nickel and dime you. See that perfect apartment with the perfect roommate? Good luck contacting them without subscribing to premium services. You can’t even send/receive messages or contact people, a basic necessity when trying to find a roommate, without subscribing.
