Customer service
This app is well beyond my expectations. I’m on a fixed income and I couldn’t pay that subscription. I contacted customer service got in touch with me. We were able to figure something out to where I’m able to receive messages and talk to the people that have rooms for rent. Very fast and reliable customer service. The ppl renting out room very friendly and safe love all the little extras to verify the safety of the guests. So that’s why I gave five stars all the way around.
Must Pay to read messages
The pay to read messages requirement is steel. About $30 for 30 day access. Worse, I’m starting to believe this app sends you fake or spam emails to fake interests to get you to pay. The messages I get are short and asinine like “I’m looking for an room.” Well I’m advertising a room, so I would like a more detained response. When I reply to these vague messages, there’s never a response. The messenger has a blank profile with no picture. I’m willing to up the rating to 3 maybe 4 stars if I got responses from more realistic people. (Update) The app will chime with a notification that I’ve received a message from (enter first name here). I would read the message and find a generic message like “looking for a quiet room near downtown.” I would reply to these messages under the assumption that it was directed towards me, only to realize later that this was simply a message sent by to everyone. In other words, 90% of the messages the app claims was sent to me, actually weren’t. It’s a feature on the app called “megaphone” where you send a message about what you’re looking for to a predetermined radius. This is asinine. So all this time I’m thinking I’m getting direct messages. So the app makes you pay to see people’s general posting requests under the guise that these messages are directly to you. For this Their going from 2 stars to 1.
Needs much improvement
The app does not do a great job in filtering active users vs. non active. Most people on the app are blank accounts with no description. Most of them are unable to speak to you because they have not paid for the app. You have to just shoot messages out and hope you get lucky. Also, you can not filter your preferences enough such as looking for a place with a garage or pool or many other preferences. The app also makes you pay to verify your identity after you have already paid for the subscription. Terrible app for the high price tag it has.

Everything’s fine but you have to pay for a subscription to receive messages which is how you initiate a convo…
11.99 to view a message
They charge a 11.99 a week to use this app and receive messages. $15 to upload an ID. Don’t waste your time. Take a look at the reviews and how they reply to other customers as well. Worst app , worst customer service.

Creepy
There is no way to filter who sees a listing. I’m only looking for a female roommate, a full year lease, and it’s not furnished. I am only contacted by men wanting a furnished place for a short time. There should be a way to filter who my listing is shown to. That would not defeat the purpose of the app, that would make it more efficient for everyone who uses it. And no it’s not ridiculous to give one star because I’m getting creepy replies, that could be easily avoided. The developer could choose to learn from the feedback, but they’re choosing not to listen.
Bug Central
Buggy app, with bad interface always crashes and doesn’t have a way to open images, could be a lot better especially if you’re paying their fee per month etc.
