Great App

I love that this app sets up a workout and tells you what to do. Following the exercises are very easy. I wish that you could add other exercises..I take boxing and a HIIT class, and if the app is supposed to be taking your other workouts into consideration, I would like to add those. Also, I hope a Garmin Connect connection is coming soon.

Best work out app that I’ve ever used

He completely motivated me to start lifting again after recovering from an injury. Gives me a challenging work out at just the right pace!

Almost perfect

I live the app, it’s totally worth $60 per year. The only things I’d like to see added are guided stretching or yoga routines and the option to to cardio at the beginning and end of a workout without having to add it. Other than that, it’s been great.

Used to be the only fitness app I’d recommend

Hi while I’ve been enjoying the new app updates. I prefer to use this from my Apple Watch however with each update the watch component works less and less. I’m working out right now, first time with the new update and when I use the watch it erases my progress. This defeats the purpose of even using the app at all. Please fix.

Good but lacking...

It’s good, if you pay for everything it’s better. But why do I need to pay to track a workout... if I want to watch the videos on how to workout, on how to perform the workout, lift, that’s fine I’ll pay... but I just want to be able to track my lifts with the GUI provided

I love this app!

I have looked for an exercise program for years that would work for me. Having the recommended exercises preprogrammed for me works. My biggest struggle has always been, how do you get from point a to point b. The videos attached to each exercise are perfect!

Superb - say goodbye to watching YouTube tutorials in the gym

I’ve been trying to go to the gym consistently for awhile. I’ve gotten better recently but still didn’t have the experience / discipline to follow a strict workout schedule. I also don’t have the time to look that up. Fitbod is excellent bc it tells me what to do AND has GIFs/instructions for every exercise that make it possible to do them without wasting time in the gym on YouTube. This app is now making me work out more regularly. Kudos - great product design.

Has it all

For a few years I’ve been looking for a workout app that has it all, creates workout with a purpose based on what muscle group I worked recently so as not to overwork muscle groups and allow rest, take into account what equipment you have and progresses your weight based on your past workout logs. Five stars for sure! Most others just randomly pick from a pool of exercises without purpose or require too much work. This app rocks!

Pretty Good

This app is pretty good. Workouts have been pretty easy so far (light weights, long rest periods) so I’ve modified them, hopefully the app will catch up. I’d like a more robust equipment library, some equipment I have isn’t listed (slam ball, sandbag, etc), plus I have dumbbells but not every weight so it’d be nice to select which weights I have. The app keeps adding exercises that require light dumbbells but I don’t have them. The app has yet to use some of the equipment I have, while repeatedly using others. Fix those minor issues and it’d be 5 stars. Update: The more I use this app the less I like it. Recycles the same movements over and over, not much variety. Has NEVER used some of the equipment I have available. Today was max effort on close grip bench press (after doing bench press and having incline dumbbell flys and decline push-up after, not much of a total body workout) and it wouldn’t allow me to enter double digit reps. I did 30 and then 20, but could only enter 9. Now the app has a skewed 1 rep max that it will base future workouts on. Pretty disappointing for a paid app.
