I have used this app for three months, and the customize-ability is phenomenal. I pay monthly, and the past few days I have been unable to start a workout and a paywall pops up. The “4.5.3 update” did NOT fix the paywall error. I can’t even manually add certain exercises to a routine and not log it. If this isn’t fixed soon I’m cancelling my monthly subscription and switching to a more reliable app.
I’ve researched a lot about gym apps and in general online workout routines and I really haven’t found anything like Fitbod. The way you can customize everything and have your workouts based on your preferred training splits is amazing. So far, I’m loving the app!
Paid the 59.99 to go to elite and now the app doesn’t allow me to use it. Keeps saying I need to pay. I see your last update says you fixed this; apparently it’s not fixed still.
I am on the monthly plan. I have been paying the monthly plan since January. I went to workout yesterday and it says my subscription expired. I checked it and it says I am good until June 28th. I emailed the account and billing department. Never heard anything back!
I’ve been using this app for a month now. I’ve used it sporadically in the last but this is the first time I’ve used it on a consistent basis. It’s easy to use and build super sets with and I’m typically drenched in sweat by the end of my workouts. Lots of diverse workouts to choose from, and you can even select your preferences (i.e. kettlebells or body weight only) and it will build workouts based off of it. The “Fresh Muscle” portion allows me to see what I need to work on next and keeps me from skipping any days. All and all, it’s a great app.
I have the monthly subscription and I do not have access to my workouts anymore! Before the gyms shut down I had full access to all exercises so I’m not sure if something changed since then but now it’s saying I have to pay for the annual to unlock. I tried to find a customer service number or email and couldn’t find anything. When the app works properly it’s useful.
I have previous experience weightlifting and exercising. I lost touch with that part of my life a few years ago and have been trying to get back into exercising. I wanted body weight workouts but google doesn’t work like it used to. All you get now are inexperience people trying to sell you courses when you google exercises to get back into shape. Fitbod had a free thing going on due to covid and out of all the apps I tried, this was the one I trusted the most and was most straight to the point. I like the fact that I can use it with my Apple Watch and phone at the same time. It also logs workouts and shows and estimated recovery percentage on each muscle group used in workouts. I liked it so much I went ahead and bought a plan so I could start my journey into fitness again. I’m not too out of shape or not overweight I just haven’t worked out in a long time and felt some doubt in my abilities to put my own routines together. This app is great.
Ok so I’m actually thoroughly frustrated right now. I love this app and have been using it quite regularly, up until today. I was ready to start my workout then I was prompted to get the elite, which I have. I have the monthly $7.99 sub. And now we be been forced into the higher tier, yearly price. Paid it. Bank shows it. After this 4.5.3 update which should have fixed the issue. It’s still is not working for me. So does the update not target all users and devices? I’m on iPhone 7 Plus with most updated iOS.
When doing timed intervals i can’t figure out how to log my reps and weights right after I do them. I could easily do it between the short rests between reps but can’t.
You pay for elite status, but doesn’t work and keeps asking for me to pay more $$$ Reached out to support, but no response in a couple of days. Can only imagine how long it will take to get my $$$ back now
