Been using for well over a year. Simple, user-friendly interface. Very smooth and easy. Drawing melodies and selecting instruments and adding instruments are effortless. Yearly subscription is 100% worth it if you consistently use the app. Hundreds of drum samples. Pack are added once in a while. Limited in some ways with mastering and other features but it is still superb. It is meant for EDM but it can be used for a variety of genres. Contains solid 808 sample pack. Way better than Garageband.
I discovered Auxy over a year ago, and discovered that I had a knack for making music. I began doing it out of boredom, stepping out of my comfort zone as a singer. After a lot of pressure from my friends, I began posting it on YouTube. Auxy was the best music making app, hands down. I purchased even used in app transactions to purchase sound packs, and I never spend money on apps. However now all the sounds I used to have access to are “premium” meaning that I must pay a monthly rate to use them. What happened to the sound packs I bought? I have no idea. I can’t edit the songs that I spent hours upon hours on. Hundreds of projects that spent me hundreds of hours are all rendered a waist of time- unless I pay the monthly fee. Auxy was revolutionary but now I fear it’s going to fade away because now you have to pay to create. You guys were making money off me before because it was optional, but now that it’s basically required I will not be using this app anymore.
Very good sounds. Very good overall.
C4$H M0N3Y!!! That’s fine. $5.00 a month isn’t bad. It’s actually pretty okay. And yeah, when you word it as coming down to $60.00 a year, that’s true, buuut when you consider how long a year actually is, it makes it not bad. If you just stop whining about having to spend your (ahem) “ca$h money” then the app itself is dope! And for those who still whine about losing money, GET A JOB, AND PAY FOR IT YOURSELF.
I downloaded auxy when it first came out, and although there are more samples and sounds to work with now, the first version was better. The sounds don’t sound the same comparing it to when it first came out, and now there is a fee of $4.99 a month, when it used to be free.
If you’re reading this note that this app is pure scam no free content. you won’t be Abel to make a 1 min demo out of it,and even if you willing to pay for it,good luck with paying 4$ a month...WHACK!
Duple Time meters are arguably the most used time meters in pop music, but many forget about other common meters. In Auxy, one can work around the limitations to use a 6/8 or 2/4 meter, but not 3/4, simply because it is difficult to chart this into the app. It would be great if the Auxy team could add more time signatures for its community to utilize.
Dear Auxy AB, You guys have done such amazing work with this app. Not only does it have an easy interface, great sounds and mechanics it is genuinely fun to do music on this app. I could say no wrong about Auxy and the subscription is well worth it. If I could add something though, I would love for there to saved configurations for drums since it’s a little tedious to jump from one project to another and create the same custom drum set over and over. Much love, Jim
It’s a rock solid app. Buy it! I do have an issue with the sample sitch it used to be 20 seconds and I used to be able to use my reason with it but now no matter what it tells me my Sample is too long. when I know it isn’t
This is a great music making app. I have made a few projects I’ve worked on but I wish I had more sounds without paying. Also I want to see some of the music producers make a piece of music with only the starter sounds just to give more of a challenge
