Recent bugs

Notes randomly duplicate and cause sync issues. Started around 3 months ago. Never had a problem on the web version.

Unusable with recent update

It auto-converts ALL of my notes into checklists whenever I open it, destroying the formatting. It also has a display error or smthn where it seems to keep duplicating all of them in realtime, nonstop. Only happens on the iPhone app, not through the browser

Great potential to be better

I am a Google user -- mail, calendar, drive, docs, forms, sheets -- I use it all. A lot of potential for this app that is not being developed, and in my mind all Google has to do is perform simple tweaks to better align Keep with its other apps: 1. Institute an easily visible folder system (just like drive). Tags and a limited array of colors do not cut it. Color codes should at least be automatic when you label with a certain tag. 2. Too easy to tap somewhere on the list and unintentionally edit or delete text. Add an edit button and eliminate the ability to edit just by tapping screen!!! So many times I've gone into a note to check off a box or touched the screen & ended up unintentionally altering my note. 3. Change notifications to match Calendar

Keyboard drops all the time

A recon update introduced a bug that aggressively drops the keyboard - its infuriating to make a list of any sort right now cause you keep having to being the keyboard back up!

I can’t see my saved images

Why can’t I see the images I saved? This is the first time it happened and I don’t know why. I already sent a feedback but I need to print some documents and they don’t appear! :/

Automatically adding checkbox boxes to each note…why??!

Hello Google, this just started happening like last month, all of a sudden all my notes have checkboxes in them and it was never like that before I used to be able to decide individually which notes I want to add a check boxes Can y’all please stop automatically adding checkboxes to notes, because sometimes I just write down a note & set a reminder and don’t need a checkbox Every time I remove the check box option from my notes, it shows back up like a day later!!! PLEASE STOP DOING THIS‼️‼️‼️

Good but need a little more

This has been a great app from my Google Pixel 4a to my iPhone 14 Pro, however I will say it is a better on the Google Pixel. I would love to be able to be able to have a private/secure section for some of my notes similar to how there is a secure folder in Google Photos. It would also be nice if you had a quantity option for your list. Like if I need 5 of packs of water but can only find 3 it would be nice to mark off how many I have gotten and how many I have left.

Good App, but not great. Yet.

I’ve been using Google keep for a while now. A few things you guys should add are folder options as well and maybe adding a table like apples notes app. I’ve been reading BASB and the labels help but it would be better to add to folders to be able to use the PARA method. All if you could bold,underline, and italicize it would make a huge difference. If you added all that I would change my rate from 4 stars to 5.

I don’t like it. If I didn’t want to use it for much I suppose it would be okay but I want to use it a lot and it’s an abortion.

Shared login, no privacy

This app shares your login with other apps, spreading your information all over the internet through Google’s tracking system. For example, sign into Keep and you’ll be signed into Safari and Google Home with the same Google account. While some people might like the convenience, others prefer to use different accounts for different apps, like separating work and personal data. Google Keep doesn’t respect that separation. It requires you to be signed in at all times and then shares that login with other apps that access Google. Google Keep also won’t work without being signed into Google, so there’s no keeping private information offline. It’s not kept just on your device.
