The mic if you search up songs barely works I tried to do 3 songs it didn’t work I hate this my mom is hooked to it and she doesn’t know what’s happened to me. I’m younger then ten and 1 broken class per day it’s stressful it’s a waste of time and money I don’t recommend this app I’d rather play piano in Chinese instead of this I only learned 13 notes of one song
I’d like these songs to be added. Winter wind, moonlight sonata 3rd movement, the full version of fantaisie impromptu, torrent, Beethoven virus, and waterfall. If that’s ok please don’t do any simplified versions. I hope you can add some of these songs. Thanks
midi does not work
Just getting back into piano after a 20 year hiatus and this app has been a nice way to find a decent variety of songs to get back to it. Songs range from classical to pop to romantic and the same song usually comes in multiple levels, letting you get a taste for a song, master one level to feel accomplished, and then start practicing against the next level. The cloud syncing of your songs and preferences is great as you can change between devices and your songs follow you. The wait for me feature is awesome, especially when you have a section that is particularly tricky. As others have noted, the microphone note detection is sketchy, so do yourself a favour and get a MIDI cable if possible. Feedback to the developer: * I wish you would group the same song’s various levels together * there seems to be a huge gap between intermediate and advanced. See Happy Birthday as an example of the leap between the two. * the ability to add to/remove from favourites on all views of a song would be a huge boon * minor nit: the indicator between beginner and intermediate is really hard to differentiate if you’re colour blind
This app is insane Well done Well executed Nothing can ever replace a real piano teacher Any more than a video can replace a mentor However this is extremely powerful assistance to learning
It is really important that you buy a keyboard and all necessary adapters to hook up directly to your iPad. The listening for the proper note is a great idea and allows anyone to try the app, but if your serious and want to get the most out of the app you have to plug your iPad into your keyboard. Trust me. The listening mode just gets frustrating. This app and it’s courses are amazing! You can tell the developers put a lot into this. Keep it up guys! I would love to see more courses. The operational control given in learning individual songs is such good work.
The pause mode is very frustrating, and it needs to have a slower mode than 50%.
If this app had the ability to teach/track multiple students at once, it would be 5 stars
